remove the drips
Now THAT would indeed be "useless dribble".[e digicons]\o/[/e] Loukeeya if you walk around in the pasture you're gonna step in some doodie once in awhile. Just wipe it off and keep on going. Everyone has their own opinion of how the forums should be run and if everyone got their way there would simply be nothing left.[e digicons];P[/e]
I keep forgetting about this one: Try logging into ImpulseAnywhere here: http://anywhere.impulsedriven.com/Default.aspx I have it listed there as well.
Wish I knew why it wasn't showing up in impulse now
Check your Impulse settings - maybe you've got it hidden? Click on white square in the top left corner of Impulse. In the dropdown list that appears, make sure "Show hidden applications" is checked. The version that's showing on Impulse is 1.00 dated 3/11/2008 so it might be worth a look.
We will need all that dust to provide a nice contrast to all that oil which will apparently still be spewing in off the Gulf.
1.) I see it listed on my Impulse, I just now downloaded and archived it to be sure it was there. (Didn't actually install it.) You should be able to just get it from there, that's what I'd do. Otherwise, yes you should be able to install Stardock Central and restore an archive of it that you made before. (You would have had to have made an archive of the specific application though.) By default if I remember right SDC looked for archives in C:\Program Files\Star
Would you feel better if they just dumped the food onto your lap?
mmm, maybe, kind of depends...[e digicons][/e]
How is that better?
Well I'm thinking that whomever/whatever/however the styrofoam is being used now, that amount would have likely been used anyway. Plus you would have had the extra amount used by what has now been replaced by paper. So in other words, if a ton a year is used now, and a ton a year has been replaced by paper, you would instead have two tons being used now more or less. Ya I'm completely making up those numbers, but that's the jis
You're reading way too much into my post. All I'm saying is "Less sandwiches boxed in styrofoam equals less styrofoam in the landfills," and as far as I'm concerned that's an upside. For that matter here's another upside: The less power you use and the less gas you burn translates to giving less money to the providers. I'm just so darn cheery.
Oh it's not all bad. It's hard to tell just how many tons of styrofoam aren't buried in the landfills for the next thousand years just because MacDonald's started using paper wrappers instead of those styrofoam boxes they had been using. And that's just one company doing one very simple thing quite awhile ago. But ya I could do without the cheerleading.
Sounds criminal to me. Don't see why Google should be exempt.
One other thing - is the XP 32-bit or 64-bit? Quite possible logonstudio won't work right on 64-bit.
I am using logonstudio ver 1.0.64.
That's the version you'd want to use on XP for a more thorough skinning job like you're trying to do.
Is there a newer version other than 1.7
Not that I'm aware of, pretty certain there is not.
Any suggestions?
If you're trying to run LogonStudio while logged in as a user with limited rights, try running while logged in as a user with administrative rights. Might try
Well that's pretty pathetic. Seems like that "option" package with the wipe capability shouldn't be an "option", it should just be built in. I know they said it was something like $500, but if they just built it in at the factory instead of as an add-on it probably wouldn't really add that much to the price. 'Course I would've thought that the oil industry might have given some thought to "How To Plug An Offshore Leak" before they started poking holes in the oce
"Drive-by" post[e digicons]:)[/e] :
It would be great if a few XP users would give this a try and post the results here.
Ok. XPHomeSP3, DTX beta, English here. Brought the Weather widget down, seems to work fine, no script errors. Probably the language(?). Just thought one "working for me on XP" might be useful before you take the conversation elsewhere. Nice looking widget. Nice looking WB. Nice looking everything els
Well that bites. Only thing I can think of that might be useful is to try clearing the cache directories, just because that seems to fix so many bizarre things. Doesn't seem likely that it would do it, but I guess it might be worth a shot.
(What I was really trying to suggest, without quite saying it, is that he leave the 3.5 DTX installed and not install the 3.9 beta which is still a bit ruff. [e digicons];)[/e] )
Regarding the DesktopX, I think what he sees on Impulse will depend on whether or not he has Impulse's "Show Pre-releases" option checked. I think what he would want to do, and I suspect Redneck will agree with me here [e digicons];)[/e] , is make sure the "Show Pre-releases" option is NOT checked and install the regular non-pro version. Ya?
Thanks LightStar, I was just coming back to say I found it. I'm on IE8, you get it back by going into Windows Explorer ( as opposed to Internet Explorer) tools/folder options/file types/"advanced button" for the wba file type. Pffft, piece of cake. I wasted more time poking around the Microsoft Knowledge base search and not finding it. [e digicons]:)[/e] I think the last time I did it I must've done it "the hard way" somehow or oth
Ya I'm getting the "Open or Save" prompt after a leftclick on the Winstep themes. At some point I must have unchecked the "Always Ask" box on the WB's, I've been using the rightclick "Save target as" for ages. Argh, as I remember getting that "open or save" option back after you've unchecked the box is a pain in the neck. Wonder what else I've done that with.
That'll teach me to post something and not keep an eye on it [e digicons][/e]
what browser
IE8, XPHome. I'm not getting the option, at least in the WB Gallery.
I really miss the ability to rightclick on the Download button and choose "Save Target As" on the skins, instead of just clicking on it and installing immediately. Or am I missing something?
Nice work Fuzzy. "Fuzzy Logic" = "Rational Clarity". [e digicons]:sun:[/e] I'll bet that Impulse Anywhere server is getting busy, I know I gave it a workout.[e digicons]:pig:[/e]
I see the new WC subscription rates are showing on the beta site. Can I just go ahead and renew there now? That arrangement is just fine with me. Thanks.
single rail......no balancing required
That's my pick too. Last time I looked (been awhile) those were getting scarce though. I suspect balancing problems is a source of "mysterious behaviour" from time to time - "How can I be short on power, I've got an 800 watt supply?"
