Oh, and the easy thing you want to do frequently is use Object Dock's backup function from within ObectDock's "Configure"/"Themes" section. That'll save your current position references, icon references (but not the actual icon images), and theme references (but not the actual themes}. That way if you mess up your layout at some point you can just restore a previous layout. You can also create and save different layouts to switch between that way.

To re-install it from scratch you will either need to start with the original installation executable you recieved. or an archive you've created through Impulse. or a new download from Impulse. I suggest you make an archive from Impulse by going into Impulse, go to the "My Software" tab, right-click on the ObjectDock icon and select "Archive Application". That will create an archive you can restore from within Impulse, but just a basic archive, you will want to ba

If you were running the free version and then installed the paid ("Plus") version, did you uninstall the free before installing the Plus? You do need to do that. Thanks Cavan, I was kind of wondering about that myself. Probably would've tried it - and probably will do it - after I get tired of seeing so much MS blue again. Knowing me, at some point I'll forget to apply the default on one before loading a new one on the other, that'll likely be interesting and I'll just say "I knew I was gonna do that"[e digicons]:grin:[/e]

Well guys I had to play (gee, that didn't take long did it?[e digicons]\o/[/e] ). I did get it loaded up fine through Impulse, and ya it does just change the main image while leaving the default blue bottom panel, user logon blue backgrounds /positions / transparencies, Windows flag and Microsoft verbage. The main image does go over/ cover up the top panel and it's stretched (or squished) to allow room for the bottom panel so the aspect ratio is thrown off a tad. On

Is LogonStudio on Impulse for XP? in Object Desktop WinCustomize Forums

I'm on XP and have the ancient LogonStudio v1.0.64 installed. Impulse doesn't show any LogonStudio installed, just shows the one version available. With or without "Show Pre-Releases" checked, the available version shows in the status bar as v1.70(2/11/2010). With "Show Pre-Releases" checked Impulse gives me the "Not for this O/S" dialog, but with it unchecked Impulse will start the download. I haven't let it finish yet, is it really for XP? Thanks.

And keeping user settings seperated, protected, and private. I'm not going to say Stardock's stuff is totally optimized, don't really know if it is or not, but that's where the general splitting up comes from.
