No problem. That's why I come here.[e digicons]:sun:[/e]

Are you looking for the link in reply #3 here: https://forums.wincustomize.com/373474
Doesn't look like this is going anywhere. You could try starting up a ticket with Stardock Support here: https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=submit and include a reference to this thread to save yourself some typing. You'll also want to tell them exactly which version of Windows you're running. They are Mon-Friday so it'll be a couple of days. Don't em
Kind of looks like the screen resolution is changing when he locks the computer and the docks are getting dumped into the corner?
Well I do know that you are supposed to uninstall the free version before you install the paid version. If you didn't do that you might want to save and backup your themes and any icon backgrounds, icons, and docklets you've downloaded, then uninstall the plus, uninstall the free if it still shows, reboot, and re-install the plus. Be warned that I have no idea whether or not that will resolve your specific problem though. You might want to start up a ticket with Stardock S
intellectual
[e digicons][/e] . Hardly. An intellectual might have actually been able to get it to work. I'm merely parrotting instructions I've read elsewhere. But appreciation noted.
You're welcome. Sorry.
Uh, back to the issue at hand, have you looked in Impulse to see if the E-mail address it shows is the same as the E-Mail he used to register the game under? (or, if he changed his e-mail and notified Stardock of the change, it should be what he had them change it to). All this should be done while logged in with Administrator rights: Click on the top left menu item, click on "Change login", look at the email address. If it's fine, click on "Cancel". If that
Can you explain this, are you saying i should use the other RAM option, the one that makes me use only 256 Mb?
Not quite sure what you're talking about here, but I'm guessing that's not what I'm talking about. Sounds like an option somewhere to only use 256 of the card's 512 and no I wouldn't do that. The setting I'm talking about is in your motherboard's BIOS settings, aka the motherboard's "Setup Screen". If you have the manual for either
Monitor management software - Ati's used to be called HydraVision, don't know if they're still including that or something similar. Not talking about Catalyst Control Center here, not sure what all ATI tray tools might contain (but it sounds like you didn't have that loaded at first). Other examples are UltraMon and NVidia's NView (which shouldn't apply here). They're applications which can apply transparency to windows, control where windows pop up regardless ef where they
A few other things to check maybe, seem like things that one graphics card might deal with better than another: If you're apply transparency to the docks within ObjectDock, set the slider all the way over to "Opaque" and see if that helps. If you're running any monitor management software that controls window placement try running without it. If you're running any dreams with OD try it without them. (My old box just can't really deal with both at once, maybe
I've recently started using ObjectDock (immediately upgrading to Plus)
OD free needs to be uninstalled before you install ODPlus. If you didn't do that, save the theme you've created, make a copy of whatever icons, docklets and backgrounds you've added and any themes you've saved, uninstall the plus, uninstall the free if it still shows, reboot, re-install the Plus. When you copy the icons back, you need to put them in the same place they were before
holy cow, now that's one serious smiley face![e digicons]\o/[/e]
Oh and if you want you could save your main theme with one name, e.g. "General", then make another theme to use with the games and save it with a different name, e.g. "Games", and switch back and forth between the two.
I suppose you could save the theme once while the docks are in the correct position, let everything go bonkers, then re-load the theme afterwards. I would at least try the games without OD loaded though just to see if they run any better.
Best thing to do is probably unload Object Dock, play the games, then when you're done load Object Dock back up. The games are probably changing your screen resolution, which OD doesn't deal with well (that would be the re-positioning on the screen), plus it and the games are competing for the graphics attention and priority (that would be OD butting in on your games). The games may very well run better with OD unloaded anyway. Little reminder here to save your O
Along the same lines the dreams also cache up / extract into the user settings, you might want to delete them out of there as well. On XP (Vista ignorant here) it's C:\Doc&Settings\All Users\Application Data\Stardock\DeskScapes\ExtractedData. I think it used to extract them to individual user app data so you might want to look there as well
As far as I can tell, at least on XP, the wallpaper used for the snow dream background has to be a jpg, not a bmp, in case that's tripping anybody up. (?)
Nexus is nice for sure but OD Plus is the way to go
Apples and oranges, really, at least when you're talking about Winstep Xtreme (especially for $19.95). What can I say, I like 'em both.
Update 3.89.042 is still listed as 'available'. Is this the one everyone is having problems with?
yes on Standard
I really like the combination of the MyColors theme and the Dream on this, and I'm usually not a huge retro fan. This all comes together great! I've been sitting here staring at it, keep seeing little movements in the dream that I hadn't noticed, I really like the way the dream is done. Seems like the MyColors theme kind of begs for its own little clock here though, maybe something similar to the clock on the front of the building, to me its almost obvious in its absence. Then o

wtripp if you want to you can try using DTX builder mode to import a few widgets, best to do one at a time. Then export it as an object. Then delete it from your DTX desktop. Do another widget, etc. Then change back to DTX client mode. Then right click on the Builder mode icon in the system tray and exit DTX Buider mode, DTX Client will remain loaded. The objects should then load into client mode by double clicking on them. Don't know how many of t
