I have multiple files named of dxgi.dll in Windows folders and sub folders. I shall uninstall explorerpatcher and try that.
That will work as well. I believe an uninstaller has been created on the git hub page. Otherwise, it is only the dxgi.dll file in the main windows folder and not the sub folder's you need to focus on. I believe there should only be two in the main windows folder and one of them
I am confused. Is 1.2 beta the latest or 1.16 beta the latest version.
Start 11 version 1.2 is the version of the finished project number. The beta numbers between 1.11 - 1.19 is like a scale of how close they are to the fully released product. Therefore version 1.2 is still cooking and not yet finished and thus there is no 1.2 to download yet.

I did a quick test. It does appear that explorerpatcher and the latest version of start 11 do have a few compatibility issues. Would you try renaming the dxgi.dll (located in your windows folder) to dxgio.dll then restart explorer. The rename from dxgi to dxgio is the on / off switch for explorerpatcher.

Windows DEV channel is an experimental sandbox. Later this year it will become even more experimental to the point features will be added and taken out depending on users response to them. This means if Stardock was to always update for the DEV channel some of the hard work may be for not

I am happy to say that I have not needed to use explorerpatcher at all since start 11 integrated in "never combined tabs". I will say for the leftists out there explorerpatcher and start 11 have had 100 percent compatibility. I used this exact combo for months without any issue. Also, start 11 beta still is being worked on and developed. More features are in fact coming. the left taskbar could still happen depending on how development goes and it's demand. I would stay tuned for the n

Naroon1, Yes I am a from the US. It is interesting because I have visited the UK and even went as far as visiting the popular Churchill war rooms and on the surface I can tell there is a lot of pride in the UK for their part in WW2. Honestly, you are the first person from the UK that has actually told me about this other side of Churchill. But, I am guessing that what you are saying is quite true about how Churchill is viewed there. I always did kind of wonder why he was voted out of office s

Buttons also shrink as much as they reasonably can when space gets low and then the taskbar gains a scrollbar. I do see the option "allow taskbar to be resized" but when clicked to "yes" the only thing that changes is the m
No, it wouldn't be confusing (at least for me). You can just use the window preview to see what it is. Works the same, but doesn't take up all the extra space. Preview shows the contents and the same label. An option to turn it on and off would be preferred. That way we can customize it the way we want it. I’m really confused by this post. You want ungrouping of app windows on the Taskbar, but you don’t want text labels

I think we have gotten too deep into American issue's here. It is a snowball of one political slant hitting another and then snowballing out of control. God and Politics should remain a personal thing in my opinion. If you talk about them there is a definite chance someone will be offended and they run too deep to change anyone's mind on a forum like this. I do think there were some people genuinely interested and concerned about the Russian invasion.

Microsoft just isn't playing nice with others this time around. They are using several subtle tricks to make you feel obligated to stay in their ecosystem. Start 11 really should be a day one install for everyone migrating to windows 11. It definitely un-hooks some of these tricks and the start menu also looks way better

I may be wrong here but I have not found any skinning on Windows 11 yet. All I have found is Windows 10 skin patched into Windows 11 with the requirement of a windows 10 taskbar and windows 10 explorer. I believe Stardock has every intention of keeping Windows 11 stuff intact or at least look fully intact when skinning. I believe the number one thing that is stalling windowblinds development is actually waiting for the completion of start 11. Getting the taskbar to work has be

There are elements of window blinds 10 that just do not feel natural at all on windows 11 for sure. The feel of windows 11 is just different and I find myself wanting different things.
