Startallback is great but 0 customization. What you have is very similar to just having Windows 10 without Startallback, minus all the stupid unnecessary things Microsoft added.
I agree, there is something to be said if you are just turning Windows 11 back into Windows 10; then why not just go back to Windows 10. I think a lot of my earlier experiments with Windowblinds 10 was to mark progress and see where things we

Alex, It is true that Windows 11 feels unfinished. I actually adopted explorerpatcher early because windows 11 taskbar was driving me crazy. I have since went with start 11's taskbar. I am running that on Windows 11's Beta so I have double beta going there. We really are at a point that windows big update just needs to be released already. It is slowing down progress. Start 11 has to deal with constant changes and windowblinds 11 keeps getting pushed back. All because Microsof

yes. The biggest one is that there is a transparency issue that can not be fixed. Other bugs are that windowblinds 10 can not skin windows 11 taskbar or explorer and windows 10's must be used instead. There are also a few other issue's like miscellaneous buttons are not aligning due to changes between Windows 10 and Windows 11. Basically, all that can be achieved is Windows 10 skin can be patched onto Windows 11 with a few tricks. One exemption is transparency because Microsoft change

There are a couple of known bugs when using version 22581.1. Things like transparency and certain textures wont work. There are also a few more bugs all due to the changes in the Beta build's taskbar. Since it is a beta build, fix's will take a bit longer then what you would expect for a release build.
I'm bothered that Microsoft rev'ed the beta channel to the same version of the Dev channel. (I understand why they did it, but there are a number of features in the Dev channel that are badly broken and now present in the Beta channel.)
I believe this is actually the first beta channel release since Windows 11 first came out. I have been on the Beta channel for a while and none of the stuff that was entering the DEV chan

Facebook is actually starting to decline as well, the social media that is on the rise is Instagram and tiktok. Neither of which I use that often, I must fall in the wrong age group. For me I like the sturdiness of forums. Better communication for focused topics, less talk about dinner plates.

I am seeing that as well. I am not sure if there is yet an official strategy on how Beta builds will be developed for. But I do imagine there will be a much higher probability that the Beta channel gets fixed a lot sooner then whatever is released on the DEV channel so I would still switch to the Beta channel in the event you are on the DEV channel

This bug seems to only be present when the taskbar is set to small. When it is sized to either medium or large it actually functions just fine. I have also seen mild texture discoloring, if you resize the task bar up then back down it should fix the texture.

I believe this is different then a normal DEV build. It should be Window's big annual update heading off of the DEV channel and to the Beta channel. In a month or two it should head off of the Beta Channel and onto the release channel. The DEV channel will instead be working on its own experimental builds that will be apart of 2023's big update
We do not offer support for dev channel builds I am afraid. Please report bugs to Microsoft.
This is actually the Beta channel's preview of Windows 11's big update 22H2 code named Sun Valley 2. Microsoft is officially moving this build off the DEV channel and into the Beta channel to which in a month or two it will hit the release channel. This is a big deal for people looking at the Sun Valley 2 update</

I think people are starting to see this because more and more often the word "woke" is being used to insult cert

There will be no more 2XH1 release going forth
Just to expand on that a bit. After 22H2 leaves the DEV channel, 23Hx will immediately enter it. The DEV channel will actually have continuous updates and experiments to figure out what they want for the next annual release. On the release channel and perhaps the Beta channel there will only be one release per year. So stopping development on the D
Stardock can and has for every Windows release, and will again for 11 - once MS has finished screwing with it.
Windows 11 is uncharted territory. It is the very first OS to be an always in Beta operating system. Otherwise you are correct. I believe there may be ways to overcome some of the issues and I am looking forward to seeing how Neil's will skin Windows 11. Obviously his team can not begin work on that project

I honesty think stardock just needs to drop support for the DEV channel and just focus on what they send to the Beta instead. Also, I think windows 11 customization is really going to be Kickstarted by Start 11 success. Start 11 is kind of the gateway for a new breed of people to come into stardock software fold. I think stardock was wise to go all in on it and hope Start 11 does really well so more money can go towards developing windowblinds 11 and even fixing an outdated site.
