I am the net. Every day I watch the Political Ping Pong balls from the only place on the table that is truly neutral, and I watch it go left, then right, then left, then right. You might know the image, because I'm not alone. No matter what side you are on, who you are pulling for, some part of everyone's attention is always here. On the center. On the net. I am the defining place. I define where a point is lost and where a point is made. I am at once the cause and th

Well, "KarmaGirl".... Try a light diet, T'ai Chi, and meditation. Balance is your name, balance is your answer.
Congrats!
"I hope this has helped and not caused you to think even more ill of me ;>" I never felt ill of you, just concern, but it is a concern based on my own brand of perspective regarding what I can only call "the unknown laws of human dynamics". Those unknown laws may be very real and affect many many things, or they may be the idle imaginings of my old and tired brain. For all I know, you're ALL the imaginings of my old and tired brain, but it's a little exhausting to go through Philosoph
O joy O joy!!! Yes, this will seem like a troll, but I don't care because I am full! Full to the brim with the joy of being! Being a windows user, that is. I'm a dual computer guy, actually. Upstairs, my PC, and the Mac is downstairs with all my recording equipment plugged into it. It had recently been in the shop...I just got it back. 2 weeks to replace bad RAM, something anyone that can tie their shoes can do in 5 minutes while drunk. Why? "Because,"
"Please feel free to give me a smack on the head if you see me post something here that as a Dad I shouldn't do." I'm hestitant to speak with all the accolades pouring in, but there are a couple of things I wonder about. I like reading about the Bean as much as the next person, but has the Bean been consulted about the documentation of her life in this public fashion? I also wonder about your motivations as well, because sometimes it seems more like a documentation of her witch-like m
If anyone happened to read my blog entitled Today's Music Critics , I have received sufficient commentary to feel a need to make a public revision. I did not mean to insinuate that anyone who was not a skilled musician was an unappreciative idiot if they stated they enjoyed or did not enjoy a particular kind of music simply because they did not possess any musical skills with which to make such a judgement.
Well you hit the proverbial nail on the head. So suppose now, after you have put in the time you believe is required to really do it "right" (arguable whatever that is), that I come along, with absolutely zero knowledge of skinning and say "Haha...dude, your skins suck." My original blog was an attempt (a poor one) for people to change their statements to show a little more human respect for the people that learn to do something well. I think non skinners should respect that y
This has been on my mind for some time, and it really isn't limited to music, but since I'm a musician, I only directly experience this perspective. The other perspectives, in painting, sculpting, architecture, or drumming, for instance, (yes, the last is a joke between myself and my drummer buddies), are simply translations of the idea, if you will. I'm trying to figure out the best way to put this without offending people, but I'm afraid it may not be possible, so I'll just
Thanks for taking the time to write out the run down on all those. Browsing freeware falls in the "when I have time" section of life, and man that seems like a small slice sometimes!
This blog would have come sooner, but I was busy. I was busy with my new case of WinPsoriasis. I've been clawing and scratching layers of skin off of my windows GUI only to replace it with other layers, and....I can't seem to stop. Right now I am sporting "Colony" created by Mike Bryant; a lovely skin with an old west flair, but a techno edge. It reminds me very much of Stephen King's series "The Dark Tower" in flavor. Like Clint Eastwood meets the Terminator. But I digress...<BR
The following excerpt from my book entitled "The Book That No One Has Seen Because it Hasn't Been Published (Oh Hell Who Am I Kidding, It Isn't Even Written)" was first digitized from my brain to Drive C:/> about one week before I discovered Blogs full force. It is a work in progress, and is denoted as such, parenthetically - Opus 2, Ramblus 1. It has not been editted at all...this is the raw form, so good luck with it, if it makes no sense, or you strongly disagree, I hope you'll at least smi
Blog. I first began hearing about this in relation to people that were tracking developers plans in the video game industry. And honestly, I don't even remember how I got here, but as I look around I am learning what the word means by interacting with it as opposed to my usual method which involves web browsers, search engines, and time I don't have. It seems to me to be a kind of online diary, and now it's becoming mainstream. Years ago, we used to laugh about writing things on pape
