I have multiple monitors, and I set my main taskbar "Align Right", but: Secondary monitor taskbar (Align Left) is not resezeable, until: I Disable Fences 6 and restart Explorer. Sometimes I also need to re-click "Allow taskbar to be resized" back on because it turns itself off by itself after awhile, then restart Explorer again. Any additional monitors will have a very narrow vertical taskbar (Align Left), and resizing is unava
DaeHawkreply 2I also have a simple request for DeskScapes 11. I know with the info panel you can display time, system info ect. I would like to see a time day, date and year in 12 hr format not 24hr. Hello, Are you requesting for something like this? Basj,Stardock Community Assistant.
I'd like that too, but 12hr format with seconds , with day, date, month, year (or not), system info (or not). Even better, would it be difficult to allow selecting the indi
Yes. No improvement.
I tried Start11_2.5.1.0-j191-Setup.exe and there was no difference. However, on the same pc, logging on as a different user, the issue seemed resolved and I was able to resize the taskbars regardless of where they were positioned. I am not sure what I have in my admin account that prevents it from working - registry entry or background application. I am still testing.
Resized is on, otherwise it would not work when aligned on the right side. Since I have 2 monitors, I have one taskbar on the right side, and one on the left side. Regardless which monitor they are on, the only one that allows resizing is Align Right; the taskbar size is locked when Align Left is selected for that taskbar. So, if I set both taskbars Align Right, they are resizable; if both taskbars are Align Left, they are not resizable. it is the same for Top and Bottom. Top is not resizable
I was able to find a work-around. When I set the secondary taskbar to Align Right, I can resize it. Once I have the width I like, I can set it back to Align Left, and it stays locked at the new width. Odd thing: Even the primary taskbar, when set to Align Left, is locked width. Putting it at Align Right lets me resize it again. Not sure what can cause this behavior. I am running Stardock Fences5 and Stardock WinBlinds Service. Explorer Patcher was uninstalled whe
Unfortunately, I didn't see this thread until after I created another thread at https://forums.stardock.com/533831/start-11-v25-vertical-taskbars-on-windows-11 . Great effort on making vertical taskbars available in Windows 11, but some improvements would make this excellent. The issues are: secondary taskbar not resizable, primary taskbar notification icons alignment should be horizontal
Thank you for providing an alternative to Explorer Patcher's version of vertical taskbars! It works, but has some irritating issues. The secondary taskbar, when vertically positioned, is locked at a very narrow size. Only the primary taskbar's width is adjustable. None of the controls allow sizing or resizing the width of the secondary taskbar if it is placed vertically on the left or right side of the screen. It also cuts off pa
It would have been nice to know that the two versions need to be the same, instead of the never-ending loop for activation. Also, having SkinStudio version 10 Install button still available in Object Desktop Instead of version 11 is very confusing. Sloppy programming and poor communications does that. Not impressed at all.
Here is the illogic. I am running WindowBlinds (See the screen), and I opened SkinStudio. Which popped up the WindowBlinds activation dialog. How is this logical? I obviously am working in the product it is asking an activation code for. Can you explain this?
I don't understand what that means. I do not have EaseUS CleanGenius or anything similar. I am using Kaspersky Standard antivirus program. This is the problem: As long as I only run WindowBlinds, and not SkinStudio, I do not need to reactivate. When I run one, then the other, BOTH of them keep asking for product keys. I have tried using the product key, then tried usi
I tried that for WindowBlinds, and it worked ONCE. There is no Skinstudio folder to delete. Should I just delete ALL of the folders under Stardock?
Why do the Object Desktop software keep asking for Product Keys? I'm REALLY getting sick of this!
It is confusing that Start11 Install is at the top, above the other "Open" apps which are grouped at the top, and not with the other uninstalled apps. It is the first one that I see. Now that I understand that it is not the one I need to open, which is further down the list, I won't worry about accidentally installing the older version on top of the new one. It would be nice if there was a warning that you are installing a lower version during the installation process, in case one acc
I have version 4.03 (4.3.7830.30748) of Object Desktop and version 2.03 of Start11 . The Start11 button is labeled Install , but hovering over the button shows Install v1.47.2 . Can the Object Desktop and Start11 (and likely other Object Desktop software) development teams get together once in awhile to
When " Let Start11 enhance the taskbar " option is set to ON , the taskbar goes to the top of the screen when some games are played. Turning off the option puts it back to the bottom of the screen. PC is running Windows 11, INTEL Core i7-9700K, GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER, Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB Memory. Windows taskbar setting ( Behavior ) is to " Show my taskbar on all displays ".
