I am not going to really argue the point with you much Doc, but this will never fly anyway. First of all the cops would never be able to enforce it ...
Doc already mentioned the likely most effective fix: regulating the tech, not the users. There is a growing pile of empirical evidence that even hands-free calls impair drivers as much as being legally drunk does. The two main obstacles to a successful policy to reduce these

Scoutdog does it and... huh, nothing still.
Banned because I'm quite used to him, and because I have no idea what Portal2 is. Probably a digital game of some sort, but I've nearly given up on those.

Banned because moving down to bases in Kuwait isn't exactly the withdrawal some of us were hoping to see. I'd try to ban the Obama administration, but none of them are playing this game. Banned more seriously for ducking the curmudgeon theme. You're a classic example of precocious curmudgeonhood.

Banned for confusing anger with curmudgeonliness. One can be a dispassionate curmudgeon, and perhaps even a largely happy one--as long as complaining is a form of recreation and not a calling or psychological malady.

What we need is for someone to squarely push the wrong button

Re the tech race getting ahead of you, I quite like disabling Tech Brokering in the main game options. That's still the only way I feel like I'm on roughly even footing with the computer players when it comes to tech trading. (The option means that players can only trade away techs that they researched or found themselves, not ones they traded for.)
... Yes, I quoted you referring to the subject of your quote ..."the religious spammer". ...
It still looks like a forum bug or a confusing misrepresentation. Your quote text in reply 468 is from one of Jafo's replies, but you attribute it to one of my replies. I didn't type those words, and you didn't quote the words that I did type. If the forum didn't do it with a code

Banned because there's a rain forest crow species that might be the 2nd best tool users on the planet. They make twig hooks to fish out grubs, not just clean sticks to tease out ants.
Quoting GW Swicord, reply 466Behold the religious spammer as he WILL be smote from this place. I don't get it. Old blog discussions are revived from time to time. What's wrong with that? Then and now, Science and God are always interesting to discuss.
I don't get it. Your quote in reply 468 cites me, but quotes Jafo. Something's working in a mysterious way.
