Beatnik, for example is such a simple little proggy that it makes an ideal starting point for the 'noob' who wants to be able to say he has 'skinned something'....and is a good launching place for more adventurous endeavours...so its place can be justified. [it's one proggy I've never skinned]. How is Rainlender ANY different?

Hey, here's a thought...why not have both?
When P2P first started to get popular with Napster like 3 years ago, I had quite the library built up. I had close to 2,000 mp3's...ah but alas...nothing good can last forever. My PC died...lost it all...couldn't be bothered to get it back. I now buy the CD's I like...I have lost all patience with file sharing...the $16 on a CD is worth the convience to me now.
#104 by goodmorphing - 9/29/2003 1:38:32 AM That's a fun game! I love these links...always gives me somethin' to do.
The most popular DX calendar objects (which only recently started coming out) get far more downloads than the #1 rainlendar calendars on any site that lists download counts. Again, not to be offending, but does Rainlender have BOTH a hugely popular site (WinCustomize) hosting skins AND Download.com hosting the app? Regardless of how good DX cale
I did a side-by-side comparison from all the major skin sites comparing Rainlender to Trillian. Here are the results... ---- Trillian 0.70/Pro Skinbase - 31 Velocity Art - 7 Cerulean Studios - 103 DevaintART - 50 DeviantART (0.70) - 88 DeviantART (Pro) - 90 Customize.org - 31 Skinz.org - 4 Rainlendar Skinbase - 77 Velocity Art - n/a DeviantART - 135 Customize.org - n/a Skins.org - n/a --- <
If you need more proof, go look through the screenshots section...almost all of them have Rainlender in there. How many people take shots of their trillian skins?
I think Cerebro meant he just wants to be a Wallpaper moderator, not an Admin. Admin's have to deal with more than just accepting wallpapers. Although the credentials part is definately a must. All admins on this site have a strong background with graphic arts. If you moderate my wallpaper, it better be for a reason...not just 'I like it or I don't'. You need an unbiased professional opinion on why you choose to moderate it...wether you tell me that reason or not is irrelevant.
Shmoopy, I'm sorry if I came off harsh, but my ONLY reason for saying that was I've been there before...I can only sympathize with you. I'm still picking up the pieces.
Life is too short to wallow about a broken heart, it's being able to pick up the pieces that makes you stronger.
Windowblinds Guestlist forms to the right. All VIP members will need proper ID. Anyone caught cutting the line will be forced to use an UzEE skin for an abnormally long period of time.
I would like the idea of a Rainlender section. This is all about customizing and Rainlender adds that finishing touch nicely. Plus, it's a stand-alone app that has WAY more features than anything like it. You can't really compare a DX calendar to it, they are 2 different things.
I say start the printers...what about the rest of you guys?
Gant by Mattahan - https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=gant&sort=updatedate&order=Descending&library=2 You will need IconPackager to use this theme - https://www.stardock.com/products/iconpackager/
It looks GREAT! Just one more teeny lil' thing...the light makes Goodmorphing's tag hard to see...perhaps move it to a dif. side of the wall? Other than that I really like it! We finally have a real 'WALL'paper!
Ok...we don't need no stinkin' lights!!! I like it man! The pavement looks very real...everything is good. That light needs to be dimmed down or turned off though...
Angelfire seems to work well...

Well if you can get Audigy than get Audigy...might as well go for the Radeon9800 Pro too, that will surely make your DVD pop! Audigy will cost you more...but if you can afford it, go for it.
While looking for a site I came across 50mb.org. They don't allow off-site linking but they are a nice host otherwise, I'll post any more good sites I come across in my search... http://www.50mb.org
