I think DX2 has a great future ahead of it. You have much more capabilities and I would LOVE to see a DX2 theme from you Gef. I never used any of your DX1 themes because I found DX1 to be a pain to deal with. Perhaps it will be different on DX2. I truly hope to see you make some! You are a fantastic artist.

Sorry man, but pointing you to the SDK is as far as I can help. I have zero knowledge about C or compiling C programs. I tought myself a bit of Visual Basic but I don't think think that will help you much.

I see what you're saying (I think). I used to have the same problems when I have my taskbar at the top of my screen. If a window opens and it's higher then the taskbar, I have to hit Alt+Space+M to move it below the bar. The only fix I found for that was setting my Work Area in DesktopX. You also have the same features in WindowFX. If you aren't using any of those programs, try a google search or go to download.com, see if they got something that can set your Window Maximize size or somethin

WinFS is the new file system for Longhorn. Just like Win98 had FAT32, NT/2k/XP has NTFS...Longhorn will have WinFS. In a nutshell (as far as I understand) it turns your hard drive into a SQL database. Each file will be a record on that database, which will make accessing files and searching files MUCH faster. That's all under the hood though, it will still look visually the same, icons and windows..etc. Paladium and DRM is much to involved to be discussed here, there are so many rumors abou

Download and read carefully though the ObjectDock SDK. It should tell you how the docklets work, how to make them, etc. You can also look at existing examples such as the Weather docklet. http://storage.stardock.com/files/ObjectDock_Docklet_SDK_v0.99a.zip

That all depends Kona, chances are Microsoft will change what 'Longhorn' is supposed to be a lot by the time it's released. It's still a good 2+ years away, who knows what the market will be like then, what the PC world will be like. But as far as everyone jumping ship, that would all depend on Longhorn and it's features. XP is a rock-solid OS with an abundancy of features, it's gonna be hard to top this. They can merely improve and streamline what is already on XP. I doubt it's gonna be su

I just changed mine a few minutes ago, it worked perfect for me. Although once I uploaded the new image, it still showed me the old image until I refreshed the page. It worked none-the-less...

For the longest time I used 1024x768 on my 19" monitor, because I've been using that resolution for so many years prior, I was so used to it. It was only recently I made the switch to 1280x1024, at first it was a bit small, but after 4 or 5 months, I've really gotten used to it. Now everytime I switch back to 1024, it seems so big...wierd how it works. I still have my 20/20 vision too!
