Hey MARTYN WRAIGHT, You should have or trade for Diplomic Translator and give the (rouge) civ some techs and other trade goods that you can part with over a period of time, and after while if stick to those ideas I placed above he should be (close to you in no time ;) ). I hope that helps you with your problem MARTYN WRAIGHT. Your fellow player, Jaxel ~SDC~

Hey LDiCesare, Personally I will never play an alien civ smarter than begginer at least at my current skill level. And letting the alien civs fight among themselves never works for me because when I'm in war they're most always gunning for me. Hey Wild Wombat, I agree with you about the tech tree because it's very effecient or smart to just go from one tech to a other with no plan in mind. Your fellow player, Jaxel ~SDC~

Hey LDiCesare Yeah I do that to. But the sercret is to get the alien civs to like you( you do this by having at one least trade rote with them, but the more you get the better. I usaully do about two with each one just to make them all happy and like me. But that's off the subject, you also get them to like you by giving them the techs they want( try to avoid giving military tech and don't just mean from the reds.) Well hope that helps you out LDiCesare your fellow player, Jaxe

I have to say either the Univeralists or Populists. I like the Univeralists for their all around abillties and the Populists I like because 20% morale( to keep people happy) and 20% diplomacy( to keep the alien civs off my back). ~SDC~

Hey I here are some strategies for keeping your people happy and with you: 1. Grab all the economic and morale resources you can get your hands on 2. Before you start a game have 40% morale and 20% loyality bonuses 3. Oh yeah and here's an easy one build all morale increasing social project you can So I hope that will help because I have some serious game playing to do. So again your fellow player Jaxel ;) ~SDC~

Hey LDiCesare Actually I can do both and I only do for an alien ally or if the alien civ have close relation to me. And I try to stay out of wars unless I am prepared to win it ( which isn't very often I'm not the military type I try to win by cultural or tech victory). ~SDC~

Hi it me again, but this the subject if you didn't already notice is how to get political victory. So here it is to get political victory you need two things: first and most important is you need to get alliences with all the EXISTING ALIEN CIVS(so you can kill a few off if you want it is actually easier that way ;)). The ones you leave live BE NICE TO OR YOU CAN KISS POLITICAL VICTORY GOOD-BYE. I almost forget you to research the follow to be able to create alliences: 1.Communacation Theory

Hey Wild Wombat I don't mean to crittize but I been able to bribe alien civs out of wars on every game of galatic civ I have ever played. Here the sercret ( get familary with alien civs recent doing and then give them what they want, try to avoid giving them millatary techs( I did once and man did I make a mistake). ~SDC~

Cultural victory is by far the easiest to achieve least for me any way. But that's not the point the point is how to be a Cultural Giant so here you go: the first is a given YOU HAVE TO GET CONTROL OR MARJORATY VOTE IN THE UNITED PLANETS( this is easier when all of the MAJOR alien civs are present, so don't go killing them off the first chance you get). Second is TRADE so trade with everyone even the minor civs when things start to get hot "so to speak".So everyone likes you (they'll trade with
