alright you can do it throught the registry. In the run dialogue type in "regedit" without the quotations. The first step is to save the registry in case you mess something up. This is important! In the file menu export the registry and select all. Now if you mess something up you can just double click on the saved registry file and it should go back to the way it was before. I don't know if you can or how to do it. Give me a couple minutes and I will tell you if its possible, and if so how to do it. I am in a helping mood today. And if you change the name through the registry, no matter what you have loaded in terms of skins the name will remain what you changed it to until you change it back or reinstall windows.

I am kong. hear me roar. roar. and iTunes does use an inordinant amount of memory and cpu. The strangest part of it all is that I have heard that it is more stable on the pc then the mac. Even on the pc its got some wierd irks. You probably just found one. While it doesn't do that to me, its probably some other piece of software on your computer interacting with itunes(probably the mouse driver if you don't use the one that comes with xp)

I do believe that it has. additionally since it doesn't affect your system files you shouldn't of had to use a recovery disc. It is probably a problem with a bios antivirus scanner, or some other system problem that somehow when run with bootskin crashed your computer. bootskin by itself is completely safe as far as I know

Travis knows his opinion really doesn't matter. I don't run this site. My opinion only tells me what to upload and how to comment. Therefor I find the discussion of copyright rules very pointless here. We as citizens and nonrunners of this site really have little say unless we somehow change the opinion of the admins. That being said, no matter what the admins do (let more things through or less) there will always be dissenters. Why continue pointless discussions?
