The borders in uis1 are controlled by a seperate image for transparency. For uis2 make sure you have transparency enabled and translucency disabled

And like Travis, I never had any problems with StyleXP conflicting with WB as long as they weren't both open at the same time I have actually never installed stylexp, but I had no problems with both a hacked uxtheme and windowblinds...as long as they both weren't running at the same time.

with icon developer or microangelo you can convert the icos to pngs. Then with another graphic program like photoshop, gimp, paint shop, that supports pngs you can convert the png to gif. Be warned that it won't look as good as the original icon. You might be able to make a straight conversion from ico to gif using icondeveloper or microangelo.

I don't have money either. I have about $250 to my name. I need a better job over the summer as I don't work at school...Last summer I worked at a fast food joint and got paid $6 an hour for about 40 hours a week. I am trying to find a better job that pays more...but they are hard to find. Jobs in general are hard to find.

when you know what goes on the puter and have a stack of cds with the proggys on em. It sure elps. The only problem comes with putting the stuff on cds. It took me a week to get all the stuff onto cds in the correct order. But as I said before I can reinstall windows in an hour with object desktop, office xp, firefox, thunderbird, and several other apps. however, If I install my mp3 collection back on that takes an additional 3 hours due to the slowness of decompressing the rars they are in

Getting lots of downloads on a skin you 'made with your own hands' is a hundred+ times more satisfying than getting a good number on someone elses skin that you uploaded. that is so true.

EventHorizon, you are right for skins, except these are screenshots. You don't download screenshots.They are there just to look at. well isn't that all most skins are...to look at. Some add functionallity, but in reality they mostly just change the appearence. However you don't use a screenshot...you do a skin.
