not aimed at anybody specifically, DesignCaddy. I just get mad at all of the people on the net who supposedly "hate" microsoft, yet use their products willingly. I disagree with some of the things Microsoft does, but in terms of software its a pretty good company.

I agree. what makes me mad is that I can't play aac files from itunes in winamp. I have to open up itunes to play them. And for the dvd. I believe if you go to download.com you can find some free software that will put the movie on dvd. Or at least it will be shareware, or a time limit. Download.com is one of the reasons I like windows.

windowblinds are themes that cover all of your windows. the taskbar, startmenu, maybe turn off, log off dialoge, the toolbaricons, and some animations. Desktopx themes(I assume this is what you are talking about) just skin the desktop...not the windows and other things like that. But wiht desktopx your desktop can look like almost anything, that you or somebody else can imagine and create. The form of the desktop with desktopx can be dramatically different then normal, or just have

If the theme disappears on you. when you first double click on the icon packager theme and it pops up showing all the icons, go to the file menu and choose save as. pick a name and hopefully it will work. I think this problem got resolved with the new release. also if the icons change back just go into iconpackager, reload the theme, then reapply it.

They own the hardware too. Since the hardware is proprietary they can design their os specifically for their hardware letting them trim the fat and make it run good on it. Windows runs on a lot of different hardware and processors thus making it bloated because it has to support all of this hardware. While theoretically osx could run on the same processors that windows can run on, it would need a lot more work done to it so it could support the vast amount of different types of hardware.

The new plugin should of come with the new dx. right click on the arrows and choose properties. in the additional abilities section see what plugin is in there. click on it once to highlight and choose configure. If the plugin isn't called analog clock 3 (thats the image clock plugin and I don't know what the toonxp clock is) then write down the configuration so you can put it back in later. Remember its name. Now click on it once to highlight it. the click remove to get rid of it. now c

iTunes Bar: I don't think this is possible on the pc because of the way apple made iTunes for it, but I might be wrong. I am sure though that it is possible to make a bar like that for winamp and Windows media player. eBay Advanced: its possible. It would probably work the same as the weather objects.

I guess you guys are right he wants it to be artistic and not realistic. In my opinion you wouldn't use a 3d program to make artisic landscapes, but you could. Make the hills no longer resemble normal hills...like make them glass or metal...I know its been done before...I still think that a windowblind skin around that theme would look nice

yep sometimes the objects and icons feel that they are more important then what I am doing and jump in front of everything. At least when desktopx is running. It gives them fuel to fight back. I enjoy fighting so I feed them as often as possible
