I read that thread. these people aren't worth dealing with. My only suggestion for you is that youd do convert the ones that luni converted and do it right and then take the rest off of the net for a while. That way luni will have nothing to copy, and the ones he had already copied will be shown in their true light as inferior copies. Yes they need to be taken down. Jafo is away right now for about a week (I think), but I am sure somebody with little sway could probably help you.
Since I can't use them to try them out I can't say definitively whether or not I consider them a rip. however from the screenshot they are very close. It looks like you had an idea and the other was very much inspired by that idea. But if what you said is true about the guy posting an exact rip, and you tlaked to the admins over there, and they allowed this after removing that, then I consider those admins in bad taste. Most wallpapers are in zip format. They are compressed inside a seperate file. get them out and I am pretty sure you can use them.
