the quick launch button for desktop just tried it, seems to interact different than WinKey+D or right clicking on taskbar and choosing show desktop try WinKey+D (or WinKey+M) or right clicking on taskbar and choosing show desktop

configure object dock general tab miscellaneous options prevent docks set to 'always on top/bottom' from hiding when WinKey+D is pressed positioning tab uncheck reserve edge interaction = keep on bottom delay = disabled (slider all the way to the right)

try creating brand new ones delete the old ones in the folder move the new ones in
