You have to use builder mode to get to properties (registered version) - don't know if trial version has the option -- right click the systray icon and choose DesktopX Welcome. If it comes up, choose create - Builder will take over. Then you can right click the object for properties and set them. The only way I've figured out to get back to desktopx, is when I'm done, unload Builder, then restart DesktopX.

Are you using free versions of the programs? If so, some have limitations on what they will skin/do. yeh, i know... see comment #2
