Thanks for the welcome everyone!! I went visiting my family for the weekend -- I came back early because of the weather. Forecast of freezing rain for the day. My normal 3 hour drive took over 4, and I can't even count the number of accidents I passed. Then again on the bright side, I get back to my house and game sooner than expected :p [Message Edited]

If I am going to have a list, I want lots of options on it. That way I can complete the "easy" ones and show I did something, without having to mess with them all. When I get a list of 1-2 items then I basically need to do them all regardless of what they are....
Didn't quite finish my game last night, although my conquest is about 70%. I had a nice "to do" list waiting for me before I could get started :(
It looks like my next game earns me a promotion to Rear Admiral. Even more incentive to complete a game tonight.
My wife's favorite seems to be, "Are you playing that GAME again?" :p To be honest, many times she's just happy that I'm not bothering her instead...and she's actually played a couple of games herself, the last one I didn't even coach her on what to do. She normally wins culturally, although she was fairly ruthless in her last game, kind of like her personality :) AmulekBird -- feel free to join the cause of Light. All of us seekers can accomplish more together.
Congratulations to the top players/empires and thank you to the whole wonderful Stardock gang. You've made a great game and an even better atmosphere surrounding it.
I was on a mini-holiday since New Years, but I'm back on the Path of Light ... and at work unfortunately (:( Hopefully I should be able to start a new game tonight and perhaps even finish it as my wife won't be home til late (hehe). I support your plans Seeker Master.

Based on some information uncovered in our explorations and readings from a forgotten data cube, the Light Seekers made a detour into a F-class star. While exploring the area rumored to contain Tyrathca's Sleeping God, the Seekers were ambushed by a collection of ships opposed to our Quest. The ships appeared right on top of us, but almost comically they skipped right by before their firing systems could lock on...unfortunately for them, our upgraded Ulkurian computer systems handled this task
