Don't resize the preview pic, if that's what you did. The website will take care of that for you. .jpeg file should have same name as .zip file ...e.g. wreckless.zip and the preview should be the same, e.g. wreckless.jpg Hope that helps.

This is a known issue, and I believe they're trying to find a fix. Meantime, so you don't have to re-type the address, just click & drag inside the address bar, selecting everything after wincustomize.com ~hit backspace and enter one after the other, and you'll be logged in. It's what I have to do. Hope that helps in the meantime.

Not sure which application your shortcut leads to, but, if you right-click on the broken icon [shortcut] and select 'properties' you should be able to access a tab there that says "shortcut". Under that tab, there's a button labeled "find target" ...click that button and you should be able to navigate your way to the .exe file for the icon's target.

In short though, you can use both .ico and .png files as replacement icons on a dock. You don't need a seperate program to do that, ...just select "dock entry properties" by right-clicking on the dock icon, and you can change that icon's image to any other image [both .ico or .png are supported]. Checkout the obectdock library here at Wincustomize.com for more icons.

If the program WebGizmos suggested turns out to be unsuitable to your needs, just remember to set the background back to the default windows one BEFORE you uninstall it, or you get stuck with the last one you applied with WindowPaperXP. It is a pretty good program though, I've previously used it, and it does exactly what you describe.

The skin(s) you linked to at Skinbase: [XoddX] ...converted with SkinStudio easily to WB format, though they're not ones I'll keep.They don't appear to have any problems running on WB5 that I can tell. All of the msstyles that were in the package converted without a hitch. Hope that helps.

If HijackThis finds nothing, go into the ZA settings and set the internet zones to 'medium' This should help somewhat, but as Zubaz said, [also settings] set to allow the things he stated above. You could also [briefly] set everything in ZA back to 'default' settings, and work your way upwards from there. Changing a setting at a time, work your way up a notch ~checking WinCustomize each time till you find the setting that blocks the pics, then bring it back one notch.

original Object desktop ...you sure you don't mean "Theme Manager"? TSF did make their own version of theme manager to apply their suite of skins/icons/themes for AlienGuise, though it never did anything bad to my rig...
