If it's locked down where I work, nothing would get done. Everything we do is done via the net now. I run a visitor information center & tour booking service. Ninety-nine percent of our bookings are done online these days. If the internet is down, we have to use a manual ticketing system ~which is a right royal pain-in-the-butt. We also use the internet for searching information on tours/products we may not carry or have displayed. So, it's necessary to be on the net f

...Good reason to set up a separate user account for the kids ...doesn't frag yours From the same config window of WindowBlinds, you can click once on an installed skin and choose to delete it, if you like. Just be sure it's not one that you're currently using. I bet the kids had a good ol' laugh amongst themselves... "Wait till dad see's these!" <img src="http://images.stardock.com/w

So you're not alone with this, Giz ....you can put me down as being in 100% agreement with you. I'd love to see a separate library just for docks, for the simple reason that I.. get tired of having to wade through all the icons just to find docks. Though I did know all of your's were there ...got just about all of

I noticed that the other day actually ...I was looking at laptops at the local shop, and every one of them came with a "restore partiton" ...Not just Toshiba's either. I didn't like that at all... still, to some people it'd be handy. Kona, Have you tried a third-party uninstaller app? Some of those are more powerful and find more than the windows uninstaller ever could, even one's no

The program deletes wallpapers ...no it doesn't. It's still where you applied it from ...be it "my Pictures" or wherever your saved wall was in the first place. When WB applies the supplied wall ...it replaces your previous wall with the new one, but the old one is still on your system. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" alig

I sure hope you find an end soon to the pain you're suffering, GM. I know what a constant torment pain can be, though fortunately the worst I've had to suffer was several broken bones in a motorcycle accident. [Femur, both wrists, a couple of ribs and a fractured clavicle] These injuries at first are painful, but they heal fast, and the pain becomes just a memory. I have seen the dependency one can have when it comes to pain meds though, so I really do hope you find a way thro

Warm congrats to your folks, Jafo ...shows that a well-manicured marriage can last a lifetime. I guess they did an okay job with their offspring too ...come to think of it. You're a pretty tolerant fella, and a nice guy into the bargain. Call it a 'hunch' ...but I'm pretty sure your A/V or antispyware program is returning a false positive. I know I've seen that "wise-post.exe" come up on occasion when watching downloads/installations running ...and I watch everything that makes it's way onto this computer. I have no problems at all with my computer, and I run ALL my security apps at least twice a week. I'm sure if yrag see's this post, he'll be able to confirm/deny

aufisch's reply above ...translated to Dutch via babelfish..

You're asking about the "k-display" widget by Tiggz? ...If so, I've just downloaded that to check it, and there's three files within the zip that I see: 1.)Digiface.ttf 2.)hoog0555_cyr2.ttf 3.)K-Display.exe You should just be able to double-click the .exe file for it to work.
