Yes, I've tried that but to me it's not a fix. I don't want the title bar to be displayed because it's just wasted space.
Like many of you, I had an issue with Firefox and WindowBlinds not skinning it correctly where the min/max/close buttons became transparent and thus couldn't be seen. Today I installed a new skin on 4 of my PC's. I decided to try to set all 4 PC's to be the same, where FF would not use the OS title bar nor the FF button, and instead display just the menu across the top. 3 of those PC's where fine, but on the 4th the buttons were not visible (I know this issue has been around for years, I just
Thanks for this tip ALMonty. I played around with a lot of these settings over the weekend, but because it said Icons I never thought it would also apply to the Details view. I changed it on my Slate and it looks pretty good, I'll play around on the PC's later today.
Thanks for the offer Tom, I greatly appreciate it. I dug around my Applications folder and found I still have a copy of SkinStudio, but it's V4.5 and at least 10 years old. I guess I can try installing it and see what happens...
Yes, I've done tried both restarting just Explorer.exe and the PC. The font for content stays the same regardless. I can see the font increase for the menus, toolbars, etc as soon as I click the Apply Style button, but for whatever reason it won't change the folder content. I reached out to the author of the skin and since he's been away from WB for some time, he suggested I post here.
I've come back to using WB after reinstalling W8.1 on all of my PC's. I want to use the same skin (Polaris) on all of them, but I have an issue with the size of the font used when viewing the contents of a Windows folder (all my folders are set up to view Details). I've played around with increasing the font using the tool within WB, but that only seems to change the size of the font used for menus, titles, etc. Any suggestions on increasing it for folder content?
Just to add to this, I've also tried OB and OB2 with Vista only to experience the same results. Whenever it launches it asks what theme to install instead of remembering what had previously been loaded.
Okay, so I know from reading thru the forum that OB is heading off into the sunset, and I think that is a real shame as I think it's probably one of the most productive tools out there. I have used OB for years now and only with the GT2 skin (great work Tiggz!). I recently built a new machine and loaded it with Windows 7 64 bit, and much to my disappointment cannot get OB to work properly. When I reboot, OB always starts in skin browser mode, so when that happens it doesn't load the one that
These are all good points, but unfortunately, none of them apply to my problem. I did try moving the mouse to a different USB port, but it still did the same thing overnight. My keyboard is brand new, so that's not the problem (installed before I tried OB). Maybe I'll try my wireless mouse next, and see what that does.
Ever since I installed ObjectBar, my mouse will move all on it's own. It always moves from right to left, going from one edge of the screen all the way across to the other. This does not happen all at the same time, but in increments, moving left about an inch, then maybe 15 minutes later, another inch. Sometimes, it will also right click itself. That happens no matter what I'm doing: browsing the web, playing a movie, or just sitting on the desktop. Has anyone else seen this? I'm using a USB Mi
