In Object Dock, is it possible to create a menu that will show only certain file types? For example, I would like a menu that shows only my .doc files.

I want to have MyDocuments appear as a drop down menu... but end up having to scroll through folders and files to get what I want. Is it possible to filter out sub folders or have only certain types of files appear (e.g. doc, docx, txt)?
