I bought cursor fx last week and I am about crazy trying to get it to work. I can't download cursors into fx. I just got a pop up that said I couldn't upload cursor plus cursors into cursor fx. So is there a separate site to download the cursors for cursor fx? I uninstalled and re installed both stardock central and cursor fx, and took cursor plus off completely, but still no luck. What am I doing wrong??? :SNIFF!:

I am trying to apply the 'elevator' transition. I have XP 2003 home edition. After I download the transition, I open it and there is tra etc. files, which I cannot open because I don't "have the associated program". I have tried moving them to the FX folder, but it doesn't work.
I am sorry, I am not real educated about all of this. A link to what? The fx that I am trying to download?
I have downloaded several FX transitions but cannot figure out how to move them to FX where I can use them. When I try opening them I get the message that it is a file that I do not have a associated program. But when I move them manually to the FX folder transitions, they do not display either. Can anyone tell me how to successfully get the transitions into my FX program?

I agree. It would be great to have something like animated wallpapers on XP. I would have to buy another computer to run Vista. I am sure there are others as well. Mayber it could be an option in the future?

So does this mean that we will no longer be able to access Stardock Central or Wincustomize browser? I too reinstalled these programs several times and even reinstalled the whole computer (losing all of my saved skins, cursors etc) I didn't save any of these things because I was concerned about an infected file somewhere within the whole program. I downloaded IE7 and the toolbar icons that I downloaded from wincustomize are gone, replaced by these generic looking funky icons. I hate them! But the system will not let me redownload IE6, because a popup appears saying the download cannot continue because windows has detected a newer version of internet explorer running. Well I re-downloaded Stardock Central. That didn't help. Do I need to uninstall the wincustomize browser, then re-install? Peggy
I am having a problem with my wincustomize browser. When I try to open it, I get a pop-up saying "this application has failed to start because wcfiles.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem". I have re-installed this application 3 times! Does anyone know what could be causing this, and how can it be fixed? Thanks for any help. Peggy

I have the paid version also, but the toolbar icons don't show up at times. I do have the WB configure set to use the skin toolbars, but more often than not the Windows default toolbar icons show up. That is the problem I have. As a paid subscriber, shouldn't these programs work?
I have looked and looked for a solution ? I know certain skins are not configured to accept anything other than the default icons, but some of the icon sets are listed 2 and 3 times in the toolbar icon windows but no icons are displayed. Several years ago I found a logon screen that I really liked. It was a large sunflower. My computer crashed and although I reinstalled everything, I haven't looked really hard for this log on screen. This morning I have went through 81 pages of logon's. Not that this isn't entertaining, but I don't have time to go through these endless pages of logons. Does anyone know where I can find this particular logon screen? I would really appreciate it.
I have windowblinds and downloaded Mozilla yesterday because of the constant spyware and popups on IE. So far so good. I am unable to get my tool bars I have downloaded from wincustomize browser to display on my webpage. Before I downloaded Mozilla I was able to get the toolbar icons to display.
