I didn't know that. Well I probably mixed it up with GC2.
Graviton
Once you choose good or evil you can't change anymore.
In GCI ships fight ships one at a time. The only purpose of fleets is to move many ships together with just one click. Of course you can protect defenseless ships by placing them in a fleet with an escort. Although i am not sure if ships defending a planet get a bonus from other ships in orbit. But it should be explained in the manual.
I would say Technology. Also it is hard to do a cultural Victory, too. Because keeping the peace and protecting your cultural Starbases can be difficult at times.
I always wondered how the Iconian techtree will look like and I like it. Giving them watered down Precursor techs makes for interesting strategy. But will their researchbiuldings be stronger than that of other races?
Cool Will you add also other Editors like in Altarian Prophecy?
Let's see how the Drengin will deal with this. Great story Eidolon1032 of the Emperors Children.
Your welcome.
Great story Namus, please continue.
Well Kona could build a Terror Star and that blows a sun in pieces, while the Deathstar just destroyes planets. But all in all the Empire ruled almost over a whole Galaxy, so they definitly have more colonies than the Drengin Empire. It would depend on what weapons the Drengin have already researched.
Ok, the first part of a game is always the colonization phase. Get as many Planets as you can, also don't forget that some systems have more then one habitable planet. Try not to take colonies with a PQ rating below 15. To do that you have to build Colonyships. You could buy them at the beginning but don't let your funds go to far down. And start building manifacturing biuldings on your planets. Then in the first round go to the screen where you can adjust taxes. Set the Tax slider so
Kane would use Avatar warmechs against him.
Darth Vader would use the Deathstar.
Isn't your serial number on your cd box? But nevertheless make a stardock.net account, you can then always ask them for your serials if you loose them or download the game without installing it from cd. [Message Edited]
Why don't you use Stardock central. You can download it here http://www.stardock.com/downloads . Of course you need a valid serial number but that should be on the case.
Since your looking for new games how about this game http://www.galciv2.com . ;)
Why don't you ask on the galciv2 forums since most people moved there. Maybe someone there can give you the mod.
Well research costs money. Each Researchunit (the pink bottles) cost 1bc i think. So through the slider setting you decide how much goes into research, mil. production and social production. But each Hammer, shield and bottle cost 1bc and that then leads to your spending. Hope that helps a little. In the Encyclopedia there are articles that explain the whole economy
Have you started a new game since you downloaded the upgrade? Maybe that could be your problem since it is best to start a new game after upgrading. Also it could take quite some turns for a new event to appear. [Message Edited]
I have a Laptop with a widescreen (15,4") and I play GCII at 1680x1050 resolution. I also have no problem with unreadable screens. Well try the things drrider suggests that should help.
Hi, Steffen Reker am i right in assuming that you are from Germany. If so and you are a student why don't you try out Barclays card. You get both the visa and master card and you only have to proof that you are a student (matrikel nummer). Cost 12 Eur a year. Or you go to your lokal bank, like Sparkasse they give you a mastercard even if you still go to school (ok you must be 18). Hope that helps you a bit.
I would really like to see more expansions after Twilight of the Arnor. Also waiting 4 years for GCIII is ok but the time gap between the last expansion and the sequel shouldn't be to big. For example, I would be open to revamping the whole economic system in a future expansion pack to help streamline it. I'd also like to expand the United Planets to allow civilizations to submit "bills" to the UP to vote on. I'd also like to see more types of ship component
Also, I would like somebody to explain to me the 6,000 years theory. As far as I know, it says the Earth is 6,000 years old because of Adam & Eve -- unfortunately, we have no way of knowing whether or not the Earth was made when Adam was born, we just assume it was made a few days before, but you have to remember, to God, time is nothing, a second, a minute, a day, a year -- it's all the same. 6 days could be the same as 60 million years. Well eart
Great Mod Rav8. I have played them from the beginning and they get better and better. Something i noticed was that certain massdriver components are not invisible. Same with the spacemining modul. Also there is a problem with the Centauri Superability. The Dominators are invisible. Im am also really looking forward to 0.6
Whoa!!! That is kinda cool in a creepy way! Mzuz, a hundrend years prior to that date is when Nazi Germany invaded Poland. You mean 300 years before that.
