well, I can see this one of yours. I have noticed that about half of the posts I write don't show up. Judgeing by the number of duplicate posts I've seen I'll bet others have had this trouble.

Anyone know if you can transfer ship designs around? Say someone makes a great ship for the Human hull forms could we download the shipconfig file and use it ourselfs?

Moving custom ships from one race to another. in Modding GalCiv2 Forums

I'm looking for a way to move the custom ships created for one race to another race that uses the same ship and module styles. For example. I've created a hull and ship for the Humans and want to be able to use it with a Custom race that the human hull form has been selected for. I've tried playing with the shipstyle and modulestyle controls in the mydoc/.../galciv2 raceconfig and even taking the shipconfig files starting with S0 and changing them to be S3 along with the style type
