I use FireFox with the IE tab extension, if I must use IE then I use either the IE tab extension or I use Flashpeak Slimbrowser with IE6. Flashpeak uses IE as a base but adds more security features as well as tabs. Ironically with FireFox there have been 2 updates regarding issues with custom cursors, 1 a security issue, both now resolved with 2.0.0.2 The reason I mention this is that I see you have done all of your MS updates and wonder if there is a hidden issue there. As with updates it can

I am not aware of a Stardock program that does this, someone hopefully will come along that does, been using ObjectDesktop for years & never had this issue. Another option would be to open the folder, select the image, righclick & select open with, browsing for other program if it is not on that list, this list may also hold the clue as to which program is holding your images hostage <img src="htt

dragonmage: I see that you are using FireFox 1.5.0.9...There have been known and fixed issues in Firefox specifically pertaining to cursors after that version. One problem was in relation to how the cursor interacted within some pages. The most current update to 2.0.0.2 also fixes a security issue regarding cursors. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I definitely suggest that you first unins

I do understand what you are talking about. when I do have my *Windows taskbar showing I always select the desktop toolbar which shows as you describe the word desktop & the >> and some Windowblinds do cut the top or even at times the bottom part of the word *desktop off. and I keep my taskbar single height. I believe that it is solely an issue with the Windowblinds program, not the other programs included in Object Desktop. Since I use ObjectDock Plus I now have the taskbar hidden so it has bee

I never update via a popup or reminder for any program, except Security apps. I always go to the site first, confirm then uninstall the program and download a fresh version. This generally avoids the above issues. Bichur, what version were you using? You couldn't pay me enough to go back to using IE... <

[quote]A lot of leeway needs to be given regarding what was expected vs what is actually meant/given as so many people who now raise the questions are very new to this whole graphical GUI manipulation idea and its community. Vista's recent release has simply added a new gateway here, as did XP some years ago....then visual styles [anything to hide the Fisher-Price look] and now animated walls [Dreams]. The new influx of people/interest means we all will be explaining all sorts of t

1....I only download a skin to use. I will imagine the other skins, walls icons & object dock backgrounds that I have that it will work with or I will start to look for new skins & wall that I need to get in order to make that skin shine. I have a vision <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Gasp.gif" border=0

Have you tried saving it to a folder, ie a Windowblinds folder in My Documents or your desktop? Then open Windowblinds and select Add Skin, then browse to the folder you saved it in and select it. Occasionally that is the only way some blinds will install correctly. I save every skin to its own folder in My Documents, this avoids the need to redownload if any problems occur with installing it. Then I simply open the corresponding program & manually install the program. <img src="http:

All of your windows will turn black, your computer will become so sluggish that even your mouse will not move. You will be unable to access simple folders on your machine & you will receive repeated messages that you are pirating the Windowblinds software. Your IP will be sent to the appropriate authorities & you will be prosecuted accordingly. It's My Secret

Is art worthless on the Internet? Heck no !~! Regardless of whether it is quality or worthless in my eyes it will always be up to the artists if they believe they can receive money for it. I recently saw a painting consisting of 4 red stripes priced at $6000.00 yes six thousand dollars But the argument given in whether I pay or not has nothing to do with my paying 5 bucks for a cup or coffee or if I
