of course I used transparent PNGs, otherwise they couldn't do much...
I couldn't assume that based on your post. I have no idea on your level of experience working with graphics. I searched your name before replying. there has to be some transparency to the graphic in order for the blur to work. Not sure about WB settings but for skin studio usually a mask works well.

I've been using roll-up buttons on most of my recent blinds and they seem to work okay?

I don't think anyone is skinning to XP anymore. For myself, I only skin to Win7 as that is what I use. In order for me to skin for Win8, I'd have to be using Win8 to verify the useability of the skin. I don't see that happening any time soon. As Dave mentioned the button size is what the creator deems it to be. The frame caption size (height) plays into the consideration for button size as well. I want my buttons to fill the space appropriately. Then take into account that

Our son is turning 14 and we thought it would be a good idea to put him on our phone as an additional line. Well, he wanted a smart phone, which we agreed with, and decided to upgrade ours as well. The two phone upgrades were processed from one location and the new line processed from another. American Express flagged the new line as fraudulently s
I'm arguing the point (and have been arguing the point since my first response in this thread), that the fear surrounding this particular product is irrational.
I'm not sure fear is the right word to describe most responses. I myself am not fearful of this product, I find it incredibly arrogant for a company to presume that collecting data without permission is acceptable. Of course we don't really know

Is anyone aware of any company that has provided customers with something without it being a direct correlation for marketability of the product or profit. There is no reason to believe that Mattel is doing something for the goodness of it's customers only. Based on what companies have done in the past only leads one to believe this is no different.
Much ado about nothing, imo. If you don't want your kids to have access to it, don't give them access to it.
I didn't take the OP to do with that aspect but only how far a company will stoop to infringe upon their customer's privacy.

I didn't see a whole lot for the PC, seemed like mostly mobile. Almost everyone I know says that Win8 hurt PC sales and the cause of MS focusing on mobile and subscriptions is mainly due to lack of PC sales. It might seem difficult for one to screw themselves but it seems that MS has a knack for it. I think it's a shame but I'm only a customer, they don't care what I think. Glad I'm retired, I wouldn't want to try and keep up with it all now a days.
