It appears to be a margin painting issue which would require skin studio to fix. Changing color would also require skin studio. BUT, I'm still using WB7 so what do I know?

the background color can be changed from any of the start menu elements under "extra settings" (all programs list color) Text color, I believe, is controlled by whatever color your text is for the start menu. This text color will also be used for the jump list text color.

go here: https://www.stardock.com/ When you open the trial version of WB are there not any skins that can be selected. You should also be able to download skins from the WinCustomize site (majority are free) and they usually self install unless in a zip. (or save - double click) You need skin studio to customize your own.

I'm not sure what you all hope to accomplish by down rating my windowblinds. I'm not amused, I think it's petty, childish and unwarranted. I also believe this kind of harassment violates the TOS for this site and that notifying the powers that be is an appropriate next step.
