I'm suddenly having problems posting over on the WC site. My profile is also not being updated. This is using chrome. IE8 works just fine. I've encountered other minor "oopses" on the WC site as well. just mentioning.

These are issues that I thought were presented and fixed. IE8 is still supported. I just had a recent update. Not sure if this has a bearing what so ever but, I believe IE8 is written into the OS (win7) code as opp

using chrome at the moment with "ad blocker" and "do not track me". ads do seem disabled. still seeing embedded video content and don't see any controls to disable these videos appears to lack any first, third or session cookie controls. (FOUND) basic setup lacks an on top favorite listing of links. sets password cookies without user input, not good. I'll play with it for a day or two. Maybe I'll take it on the chin regarding the emb

Just mentioning, I know which browser I'm using and am aware that there are other browsers available. I don't need a nag screen to remind me. I have tested other browsers, I just haven't found a better one that suits my browser preferences. Until I do. or everyone decides not to support IE8, I'll stick with IE8. (remember IE7) I mean all I'm asking for is a method to disable ALL <st

I really hate being notified that I have won some prize with the flashing red/yellow banner/fonts. I keep searching on how to disable html5 video but alas... Does anyone know how to disable the video portion of html5???

Just mentioning that this has been entertaining and educational. DaveBax has been very helpful for me to get the correct placement since I don't have Win8. Good opportunity to work on techniques as well. Lots of nice stuff being uploaded, congrats to all. I guess one could wonder if the community response to a request for material would have been met with the same vigor without the contest. I probably would have, it's been a hoot.
