all .MSN (Pay) .hotmail (Free) .Live (Free) are only good if you check them at lest every 3 months that's the down side.. what do you not like about them, just curious.
I don't like creating accounts and giving away private data to companies that either use or sell that data for targeted advertisements. When I do, it's because there is a need for it and not a want. I provide my personal data to SD and they have proven to be a trusted site. However,
so it seems, these type of companies get you inticed, give us maginal service and hope that we will upgrade to their pay service. I think that the ability to remove graphics is a major plus and since my graphics are usually only for forum posts I gotta stay with photobucket, until something better comes along.
I have an msn account ,who dosnt. just the none smart people ha ha Just kidding gmc2
MS probably has me registered over the years many
??
oh me just being irrelevant again.
I have an msn account ,who dosnt.
I don't believe that I do, but...
excuse me, my comment was directed towards windowblinds only and I didn't take into account those other talented people that skin other things.
I am using firefox to transfer a jpg off of my desktop. I used Chrome also, and got the same problem.
I usually have to use FF to upload here, I don't get the upload buttons using IE8. last I heard Chrome is not supported here only IE? and FF.
[not able to be 'tweaked' as regular skinners like to do].
regular skinners tweak other skinner skins, for what purpose? I can see looking under the hood to see how something was made but... it's just hard to imagine say Kitty tweaking one of John's blinds, or visa versa, for any reason. I assume that most "regular" skinners are using their own skins, maybe I'm incorrect and I'm only speaking from my own experience.
all you need is an MSN acount
nope, don't think so.
guess they're all bad. I recently switched over to photobucket when I encountered uploading problems with imageshack. I haven't had any problems yet but then again my uploads are fairly small to begin with.
you didn't mention the browser you're using however, I encounter problems using IE8 to upload to this site and usually end up having to switch over to another browser to do so.
it does mention, in the jump list help, that only the outside frame can be transparent. and I see in your screenshot that you have transparency?
Jafo, thank you for acknowledging that you are human after all. I don't disagree with what has been said regarding piracy as a bad thing. I only wanted to point out that some people may pirate to get even and that consumer protection sucks.
Any knuckle-dragger with half a brain can google 'torrent' and get something for nothing.
you assume that people who pirate are stupid and lacking a fully functional brain, or that is your opinion of them, when actual
there is an element of getting even that has an appeal. That's even more pathetic an excuse than crying poor. Pathetic isn't really strong enough....but it'll do.
well, when you get ripped off, getting even is a thought that most of us will entertain and most of us will discard but there are those... and Jafo, you've never wanted to get even for any reason, at any time in your life.
The failing and/or stupidity of a program company NOT giving a potential buyer an adequate/appropriate 'taste' of his wares is still no excuse to pirate the software.
sometimes the lack of information is intentional by the distributor/creator to confuse the public into buying their product. such as when you encounter the bundling of music tracks where there may be one or two good ones and the rest are not. I'd rather spend $2 to buy the tracks instead of $15
If your not going to help please don't leave useless replies
okay, so what is your favorite sport?
I'll bite, what is se7en? I like the INVI 4F skin, very nice, very well done but it doesn't seem to be locatable on this site? sure you're not just showing off? sorry, refreshed the page and now I can see more - holding this thought *edit* oops - thought lost, still, have some good looking skins there.
Do they know your moving?
that is just so appropriate. So, Starkers and maybe I missed it as I haven't visited this post recently, when are you moving.
I choose the link to see the other forum post and was not only entertained to find that I could post there but that I found one of your hiding spots when you're not posting here. (meaning Jafo, lightstar, doc, etc.) *edit* sh#t, feel like a newbie all over again, is there anywhere where the forum structure is explained, bet not but thought I'd ask anyway. Q: is there a listing of the forums that are supported by SD?
Does this mean I like stirring up trouble? Or does it mean I talk about topics that people find interesting?
so, what did you come up with? I didn't know about this venue, or even that I could post here, entertaining. I now see what other regular posters (WC site) do in their off time. edit: oh I see, what's posted there is posted here also, they're not separate venues but intertwined in a confused kind of way.
at least with Impulse you can turn off the automatic updates, especially since every time you open it up there seems to be an update available. then there are those other programs (AVG, itunes, flash, etc.) that just pop up at inopportune times to inform you of updates or special offers that one is not interested in. hate getting kicked out of a game to be informed of an update. will civV be available on impulse?
It's all about 'presence'...not 'in-your-face' presence...but 'noteworthy'
you forgot "silly" and "inane"
good for you, and there's lots of help here in the forums if you ever get stuck or just have a question.
did a search on "towmaster", came up with nothing. looks like no harm done.
Congratulations, I don't visit many galleries so I only am aware of some of you but this gives me the opportunity to check them out. very nice work. Always nice to see those that put effort into their art to be recognized for it. sc4rfy and garbageguy, special congrats and thanks for your windowblind submissions.
open wb - click on "about windowblinds" - click on the "copy to clipboard" button and control v into your post. generally it's the first thing that is requested of one who is having problems with their WB.
