i'm pretty sure that not all text colors are changeable, I sort of, kind of remember that these pull down menus mouseover default to white but can be changed to black by removing the mouseover graphic, reappling the skin and then reinstating the mouseover, but then you're stuck with black. I looked for a post where I had asked the same question but it has long been gone, back in my XP days, if this has been changed with win7 or the newest versions of SKS/WB, I'm not aware of it, cause
Do the names of those items vary from skin to skin depending on the skin creator or are they standard from skin to skin?
hope this answers that; the file name can be anything, there a few exceptions, however the identifier will always be the same. the "taskbar" will be the taskbar but you could name the file just about anything. most people stay with the sks convention for names but....
jazzy, I have that issue with other programs as well, not just IE.
those particular menus need to be a light color as the text colors appear to hardwired by the os and they also appear to have a shadow. it is real frustrating when attempting to do a dark blind. I'm not sure that this issue can be addressed through SKS. it's a work around.
That is the only sensible process...
I think this only applies to wall papers as it appears the most difficult to get submissions accepted; it is just a graphic and I assume it is judged on that aspect. not sure how I see who submitted it as being real relevant and if that was the case then someone who is not a part of the decision making process could do the back check. to me, when you have personalities as being a part of equation we all have a tendency to los
If your desire to help someone is still there you could just pick someone, go to their site and see if they are a subscriber and if not, gift them a sub. Todays goal. Do someone a good deed but don't get caught doing it.
no, not subs, SKS6 was my offer back then. ID's approach was a good one because it provided an avenue for people that wanted to skin to ask for the program if they couldn't afford it. that was with SKS6 which, at that time, didn't nee
I don't think anything came from the OPReply #60 suggests otherwise.
I volunteered to help out and nothing came of it, so from my personal experience my statement is accurate.
that's twice I've had a post locked while I was in the midst of a response, very unnerving. but I had a question; question for the powers that be: is it possible to upload or update a program from impulse without updating all the other superfluous data that goes along with it?

which browser are you using, IE8 seems to run into trouble occasionally. I usually attempt with another browser when IE8 fails. shouldn't be that way but it is sometimes.
