thanks for the encouragement Doc.
thank you G3mpi3, here's what the frame template looks like.
I don't usually post WIP's however in this case I am making an exception. it's a long way from being ready for prime time but I thought I'd share what the start menu looks like.
looks good
Seth, Seth who?
Has this been submitted in the bug thread?
yep, but I found that I needed to post it separately also to verify my sanity and slice of reality. thank you all for doing this, hope to return the favor someday.
Perhaps Mr. Jobs has a point.
now, I've been saying all along... Kestral, so now is there anything that can be done to remedy this???
I now feel extra sure when I say there is no flash in this page.
and yet, the problem remains. I hear what you and Kestral are saying that there is no flash on the page and yet, flash is impacting the useability of the page. I wonder what the "other problem" could be? probably too many to sort through at the moment I might have to wait until the dust settles to approach this issue again. it's difficult to blame the browser when just one week ago I w
Flash is needed to upload as the upload plugin being used requires flash.
yes, this I do know however, so far, I have been unable to upload via IE8 also. as both of these issues are flash/IE8 related it might just be possible that you all have overlooked something. I had also mentioned that both issues were not issues before the change over. I'm certainly not the expert here but the progression of events does lead o
I hope that Kestral sees this. if it is not suppose to be flash dependent then it should be changed. if it is flash dependent then someone should say something instead of "no, it's not". I also can not upload from IE8 with flash enabled???
if you would and are using IE8, win7, 64 bit. go to any page where you view the artists submission's comments and are able to rate the submission. goto tools and click on "manage add-ons" and disable flash, close the manage window and hit F5 for refresh what changes for me is this: no comm
need to do something about the refreashing of the page after "submit" though.
looks good Harley, can't wait to see it in action.
I've come to the conclusion that supporting the site is a good thing so I'm happy to see the subscription rate reduced.
thanks John, I have the zip and will take a look, much appreciated
where is this controlled, how is it turned on and can it be modified. Win7, 64 bit, windows graphic score 7.4, wb7, sks7
ask questions when stuck, someone should be able to provide an answer for you.
"my skins" - sortable columns would be nice along with that total download number. thanks for getting this updated. how do you change the number of previews viewed. I going to "my site", to "my settings" but receiving a 404 error. how do we delete submissions from our galleries.
and gmc2, the only flash content I cant think of on the skin details pages is in the ads we pull in from our adserver, however, I'm guessing you are a subscriber and don't see ads. Thus there is no reason having flash off should have killed anything on that page... It's possible the skin sharing plug-in uses flash, but again I'm 90% sure it doesn't.
I'm just saying......
I like the "recent posts" idea however I think that "recent threads" would be more useful. sortable by catagory maybe?
happy trails Skinhit, thank you for your contributions and the sharing of your knowledge.
