I tried to upload on FF and it seemed to work. the place holder had the preview and the comments, so I assume that it did. having some issues with ie8?

how do I know if my submission has been uploaded properly. what I saw was a template of the page where it would be looked at. it did not show the preview or wba link.

all links are active and working for me using IE8 and "yep", tabbed browsing seems the best way to go. although it doesn't remember my settings across the platforms. AND, I think someone owes me an apology for the "no, we don't use flash for those items".

I enabled this feature and didn't see any difference and while I'm still not sure I understand, it seems like it could be a good thing. I'll play with it some more. new things to learn.

AND FINALLY; flash disabled = problem, flash enabled = NO problem

just a suggestion: take it back to a good restore point before the drivers were updated and see what's what. I have a geforce gtx285, the cureent driver rev. is 8.17.11.9621. there was a later one but it was pulled for some reason.

from another thread, I'm using IE8 and I am unable to rate skins as the star rating thingee is missing as well as the author's comments. Checked with FF and they are there and working with that browser. Is "flash" or "third party cookies" involved with either of these two items?

Kestral, I'll bet that these things you mentioned have been discussed within the forum and I just plain missed them, glad to hear about them. I did attempt to access my settings and had a page fail but that is understandable with the change over. I'll look again later.
