note: I attempted to send this as a PM however the text box wouldn't adjust enough to enter the text code so.... Morning Brad, I have one big gripe with some of your programs and it's not like I dislike the programs, I think they are really creative and unique. However, the documentation, wiki pages and function explanations leave a lot to be desired. I have had several posts regarding this issue but of course, nothing is e

sks7 looks nice however, and I am sounding like a broken record here, the lack of documentation is not so good. there is one page entitled "custom section" that has no explanation what so ever. going to the wiki, as usual, gives.. there are many additions that respond in the same way with no help or explanation. I like the one about spin controls (I hate spin controls) that states...
gmc2 .... why did you decline the Impulse update?
my thought, right or wrong, is that every time I open impulse there is an update and so, I figure the update is probably more for content than anything else. since I don't give access to my computer without proper reason and usually unless there is information as to why the update is required, I generally shy away from automatic updates.

so I was wondering if I was entitled to a free upgrade (purchased about 9 months ago?). went to Impulse and saw it listed until after I was notified that there was an impulse upgrade (which I declined to update) and then with the refresh, the program was gone from the listing. so, please a little more info on upgrading and whom is elegible.
There is another feature I forgot to mention which is on the advanced tab under SkinStudio preferences. You can now select an OS to target and SKS will hide the sections which do not apply to your OS.
this is pretty cool, thanks for the inclusion.
If this is happening on shutdown then you must have the WB config window open at shutdown as thats all sevenconfig does.
I don't see any WB configuration window, or at least anything identified as such? however the only WB window open is the opening window, the one that shows downloaded skins. EDIT: that is the window you're mentioning I believe. So, I need to close the opening window in order to shut down the program? END:
initiate a trouble tic

you guys are funny. I posted the same issue over in windowblinds cause well, it was a wb problem, but no. Hankers said I needed to post this over here and Rosco_P says to pass it on to the support group. I'm thinking it might not be a individual/isolated problem but something with a recent update. I saying all this in totally good humor. I'm just trying to helpful and since it is not a critical error, happens only on shut down for me, I could care less. but you all mi
good that the problem is solved. when you say feather do you mean outerglow?
not sure Kitty if they are the same. I'm using psp7. top circle is without feathering, bottom circle has a 15 pixel feather. feather is a solid black fill placed on an empty layer below the object. same thing?

there's probably more ways than one to do this however, I have just started using masks to create semi-transparency or varying degrees of transparency. once you create a mask you can save it as an alpha channel. black being fully transparent and white having no transparency. the shades of gray in between provide your degrees of transparency. hope I said this correct, I'm still learning as well.
