i think i got round it another way....well it works now so i must have. i changed the anti-aliasing settings up to x3. the video clips run in a staggering pace but at least the game works now....ish....just had to quit a game cos my turn button disappeared.....might wait for the next patch to start playing again. thanks for your advice anyway

crahes when loading games in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

everytime i try to load a game i saved earlier my game crashes. i'm not sure if it started when i downloaded the patch or not because i downloaded it just after i saved my first game. any help? i've got and nvidia geforce fx5200 if that helps.(it aint great but gets the job done)
