I played for hours and didn't save. I had to leave my computer for 10 minutes and so I dropped down a menu and walked away. When I returned, Windows had locked up and I had to reboot. Lost it all! HOW do I access the auto-saved games? I know they are being saved. I just don't know how I can load THEM. Anyone?

Ahhh, that toggle DOES result in loading the original configuration. Much better than previous. Putting idle ships on guard or sentry results in having to do so again and again whenever the base number of turns expires. I still think newly launched ships ought to be viewed first.
After researching a new and improved weapon, I rush to have it incorporated in all my ships currently under construction. So, I select shipyard, click on an existing design and hit the UPGRADE button. Then an EMPTY ship shows up! No existing components are shown! I have to refit it with each and every EXISTING item, and do so for EVERY military ship - which is BORING. How about - the EXISTING ship shows up outfitted the way I last saved it. Every engine, weapon, defense and

Their race is shaped like huge spiders but act like the future robots of "Terminator" - their unrelenting purpose is to kill you. When one of your solar systems has been conquered, the entire population will be eradicated. Excep
Ahhhhh, I do see that now. Yes, When I click on Subspace Annihilator it does indicate a Future Tech only. No current Ship Component will be awarded. Dang! Now that places TWO speed bumps along the way to the Doom Ray: the Subspace Annihilator and the Subspace Blaster. I call the Subspace Blaster a speed bump because it is essentially a worthless advancement. The previous beam weapon, the Disruptor III, has a Size: 8, Damage: 8. The "new and improved" Subspace Blaster has a
I had researched the Subspace Annihilator, a beam weapon. Then, at the Shipyard, I attempted to update my Dreadnaught and this weapon is not listed! Yes, I am running Version 1.4. Looks like a bug to me.
