In my office hangs several priceless original pieces of art ( hand crafted by my 10 year old ) a 12 x 20 metal poster of Barney Fife " Fife Security Service, Not much gets by him!" The required licenses, pictures of the family.....and every single plaque, award, diploma, and certificate I have ever received ( we call it "The Me Wall" ) and yes, it's there to help close that sale...... Boring doesn't begin to describe my usual day, I'm here ALONE un

So sorry MM, All bets are off when you purchase a hybrid or specialty vehicle. The limited production scheme is yet another dealer profit area. I'm planning on a future article dedicated to this specialty market, where when planned wisely you can actually make money. Enjoy your 50+ MPG tho....( it should help recoup any overpayment quicker than most )
You know, when I got a dent in my car, I had it fixed, when the paint faded I got it re-painted, and when the tires wore out, I replaced them.... Vanity ? Gotta figure I think as much of myself as my car...... So it goes
Tweak for forum posting
I saw this new category and figured it would be a great place to impart a little wisdom. I've been in the car business since 1985 and the following random thoughts and sugestions are based on that 20 years of experience. First and foremost, do your homework ! For many people an automotive purchase is the largest single expense in their life
"Soylent Green is people!" We can do anything with most anything....once it can turn a better profit than what we're using now.
Make that 3, ( and realize everyone who didn't googled him right after your comment was posted....)

Oh, how I just love this subject...I'm going to tweek my old post and see if the responses still hold true.... In a nut shell, social workers perpetuate poverty. The system is in place to maintain an entire sub-economy.
OK, this is TV, and what you see and hear is manipulated by the producers to generate interest... Perhaps, and this is just a guess ( on the verge of a conspiracy theory )but what if Idol is tweeking the votes, basically pre-determining the outcome.... Food for thought, Scott has had all of the bad press, he's marketed to the "Joe Six pack", middle American. He's had the run in with the law and girl friend, he's racially ambiguous ( w
OK, White guilt has been brought up, Hollering racist as a crutch has been introduced, and the plight of the impoverished minorities has been bandied about. So? The crap of "extraodinary challenges" to escape poverty is a product of that white guilt, perpetuated by the very beauracracy that was originally developed to "Help", but which now relies on the impoverished to exist. Coupled with that is a culture that views any signs of acce
Once again, I agree, Scott is gone this week, unless Constantine's poor performance ace's him out even sooner.... Carrie dressed better this week but the song selection was a piece of crap, and she sang it like crap as well. I'm still pullin' for Bo and Carrie in the final, but Vonzell does seem to be pulling up from the rear of the pack, peaking at the right time , so to speak. Andrew sang Celine Dion (?), shesh, must be why
Caffiene is my last indulgence, uh, that and cigarettes, and the, er, occasional beer or 12. I've had bad back problems for years, medicated with OTC's and the reserve of Class IV's when needed, got to the point of cycling; Back pain, then kidney infection, then reflux, then repeat.... Grin and bare it thru pain now, low dose aspirin in the AM, Lots of water for the kidneys and the reflux. No more belly meds, no more "good pain Meds",
Hello NW, Just chiming in to agree that the advice so far given is acurate and sound. My wife now works only 2 days per week, it's great for our home and my business. The family kicks in at the store, and, knock on wood, we have yet to have a child subjected to "Daycare"( their indentured servitude precludes that ) .... Good Luck
Always ask for those referals as you expand your business, most effective advertising out there!!! Just a point to ponder; A friend of mine does power washing, does a great job, lowest prices around, but he can't close the big money jobs tho....why? Appearances, he's got an old truck and well worn equipment v/s the high dollar guys running around in shiny new trucks and sparkling state of the art equipment... Old SNL ment

Hope all works out well, and I'm glad they didn't diagnose athsma or something.....
I too am a recovering point whore, I have since taken up needle point and ship-in-a-bottle building.... The shame of it all is that by responding I am feeding both of our addictions......
Who me, a preacher ? No. Not that it was a path my family hasn't taken for the last 4 centuries ( seems you either went military or seminary ) but I rebelled, striking out a path of my own. My faith is still intact, just not an allegiance to a particular denomination....
