Thank You Admiral Glacier and CariElf... I guess I'll just have to chalk this up as an "Update" learning experience, and say Goodbye to my 1st Campaign Civ. :( No Biggie, I guess...Although I'm sure the Screams from all of my Citizens that got sucked into the Galaxy-Sized-Update-BALCKHOLE will haunt my dreams for days to come. (:( hehehehe Good Luck on Future Patches, and finishing AP! I'll start up a New Campaign. GalCiv ROCKS! ~SDC~

Thanks for trying to help with the Save game goof everyone, but I never said I was an AP Beta tester in the first place. I just picked up GalCiv recently and was playing the 1.12 build during my 1ST Campaign EVER and saw that there was a 1.13 update. I said ROCK ON...updated my game (in the MIDDLE of my 1ST Campaign...groan...live and learn), tried playing, and FAILURE. Now after I hit Next Turn, I get a VICTORY Screen! On ALL 15 of my Saves! Yikes. HORRIBLE BUG that needs squashing...

David Ennis, 1st you said that I'll most likely have to start over, but then you said that CariElf sent you an E-mail with an executable Fix. Does the fix REALLY work? If so, then maybe CariElf could send me a fix too, and I'd be back in bidnizz! :-) You're giving me a sense of hope! CariElf...may I have that Save Game fix too Please? :SURPRISED: Do you need one of my Saved Games? Any Help for my Update-Botched Saved Civ would be much appreciated... <br

Thanks for the quick Reply CariElf! :-) I'm fine with the fact that there was a mistake with the new programmer (FIRE THAT PERSON!!! hhahaha J/K), but you never said if there was a potential FIX for the Save Game problem. Will I NEVER see my old Civ again??? Please let me know if this is fixable or whether I need to start over... :notsure: Thanks! ~SDC~

I too am having a problem Loading my previous 1.12 Save Game after I updated to 1.13. I JUST got this game, and had NO IDEA that you couldn't Update while in the middle of a Campaign?!?! That's OBSURD! I'm an experienced gamer too, and have Never seen where Updating the core game can corrupt your Current Saved Games. This is a BIG Problem. What can I do to resolve this? Will a new patch fix this? Is there a converter? Will I EVER be able to go back to my Saved Game, or do I have to Start from sc
