Can't uninstall SDCentral.. in Stardock Software WinCustomize Forums

No INSTALL.LOG file was created... SD Central version 1.32. Any help would be great...!

Actually I found the answer on the stardock newsgroups... Uninstalling WB should be enough. However, if wbui.dll didn't uninstall correctly, the problem you describe may occur. To fix it, run this command from Start/Run: regsvr32 "C:\path\to\windowblinds\wbui.dll" /u Usually the path will be C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds After doing that, the integration with Display Properties should be removed. <

Nope that didn't help. The display properties dialog still crashes. Am I supposed to reboot or something after using the tool??

OK.. this sucks... I'm having a couple of problems with Windowblinds and my nVidia drivers on my Dell laptop. So, I figure I'll just uninstall Windowblinds, right? WRONG. When I remove Windowblinds and then try to use display properties, if I go to the "Appearance" or "Settings" tabs and try to apply changes I'm getting the message: "Run a DLL as an App has encountered a problem and needs to close."
