Wow! I can see the tumble weeds rolling by. This place is quiet! I may as well start off... Final meal - Seafood Laksa with extra chilli followed by Creme Brulle Original Embarrassment - Calling my best friend's Mum the wrong name for 2 years until they finally thought it wasn't funny anymore and corrected me. Oh the shame! Favourite word - This one's hard, but it would have to be something like discombobulated Favourite Expletive

In honour of Dune's brilliantly interesting blog, I have decided to flagrantly steal her idea and pose some more questions. Here goes. If you were to have one last meal, what would it be? What is the most original way you have embarassed yourself? What is your favourite word? What is your favourite expletive? If you had to move to a remo

We are really close (even though I'm now 12,000 miles away from him) and we know that when we're old and grey we can say that we always had that night It was funny when he met his current girlfriend as she was really threatened by me and asked if we'd ever been involved. Needless to say he didn't tell her this story - a little hard to explain to a new comer! I do like th

If you are polite and respectful to most JU bloggers~then a few folks will label you weak and shallow. So true! An article I was reading recently was lamenting the number of 'arselickers' who simply write nice things to other bloggers. So what? Some people blog because they want to have a rant and rave

*Deep breath* A good, male friend of mine ended up crashing with me in my bed one night following large amounts of drinking. It was 5 in the morning or something by the time our heads hit the pillow. Memory of even getting in to bed is scant, but I know that I was wearing knickers and a singlet top. My mate, I assume, would have been wearing boxers, however we have found him stark naked, passed out on our couch before so I think he kind of needs to sleep in his birthday suit (need may be the

All thats bad enough, but theres something a bit obscene in marking unprepared foods. Dunno why, but it just doesnt seem right. I'm with you there. It strikes me as particularly unusual - like when people dress up their poodles. Leave the poor 'nanas alone! The thing that irks me the most about

You know what always concerned me at uni? You study a boring subject for a semester and praise the lord when you don't have to go back to it. Who are these lecturer's who end up teaching the same boring thing year after year? They must be glad that their expensive education lead them to that pinnacle in life! That's probably why boring subjects have crap lecturers - they're permanently pissed off! Good luck!

Why are they making up useless new words when we don't use enough of the useless old ones? Example - Ohmphaloskepsis - the contemplation of one's naval in aid of meditation. WHY DO YOU NEED A WORD FOR THAT? Great article!

Drinks - About 6 or 7 pints if I'm drinking, which is once or twice a week. This renders me a babbling idiot so I really shouldn't have that last beer. If only I could control myself! Sexual partners - 10 1/2 - Yes. There's a half point. It's a long story. Cigarettes - variable. Generally don't smoke during the day at all, unless I'm having a bad one. At night I'll have anywhere between 1 and 20 (definitely dependent on drinking!)<br

While it has been a while since I've worked in a newsagency, the idiotic things people say at these establishments have definitely stuck with me. I thought I'd share a few with you 1) Do you sell newspapers? 2)If I don't enjoy this magazine, can I get a refund? The rest will mainly have to do with the Lotteries and gambling 3) Is that the winning t

That's priceless. I wish I had thought of that when I was working there. You could always get in a few snide remarks as her hearing was incredibly impaired as well. Now that I think of it, it's a wonder that she got around at all! (Oh, and as a rule I am very respectful of my elders. Just not her - you had to meet her to know the true horror!)

Little whip - I'm with you (especially on the technique point! ) You shouldn't have to explain sex or boys liking boys or girls liking girls to a 5 year old child. What ever happened to letting children be innocent children? Sadly

Why is it when someone has nothing worth saying they resort to name calling?? Shadow, I could go through the entire article and pick out all the flaws, but what would the point be? It's your opinion - one that you're entitled to, and one that I doubt any form of evidence is going to change. Just as you

Gee... it appears that you have forgotten the distinction between a government and the people. I try, the best I can, to remember that simply because I don't agree with what a government does doesn't mean that they people that they govern are the same. Or that if their president is a small minded redneck, so are his 'people'. Shame to have someone prove me wrong.

Also glad you had a safe trip! I hope the good bye wasn't too bad. Best of luck with the job hunt! Taking a job which you don't really want isn't such a bad thing in the short term - you know the old adage about it being easier to get a job when you already have one! Good on you, buddy!

Yet another example of why I am glad not to live in America... However, I'm with you buddy. It has perplexed me for years and years as to why people get so worked up with how other people express their sexuality. If a man chooses to insert a dildo in his arse, it's no one elses business. So why does it become someone else's business when the dildo is replaced by a penis? And it's interesting that lesbianism seems to only be accepted w

That was amazing! Where do you get off saying you're not a good writer? That brought tears to my eyes. I'm going to keep on your case now!

Im supposed to be writing my novel at the moment. If I could control my procrastination urges a little more, I would be. Ive done about three hours today but considering how little I seem to achieve, this is nothing. At the rate Im going, Ill still be writing this novel when Im 50! Im really struggling with my own self doubt right now. I have th

Hey babe, Poor you! I am with you on the 'LEAVE ME ALONE!' sentiment. Some people seem to like being sick - they revert to this childlike state where everything is done for them and I swear they prolong their illness simply because they enjoy the fringe benefits so much! I view sickness as something you need to be efficient about - I don't want to be stuck in bed for days, so I'll do some hard core sleeping, keep away from everyone (especially as e

Don't worry - I too have fallen prey to liking the occassional gay man and I'm with you on this. Instead of looking for the normal meat head, you'd like someone who is able to discuss something other than football and beer. I'm told that these guys exist, AND are straight, but they must be few and far between! But you know what - it all seems like too much trouble searching for these elusive creatures - they are probably already taken, and locked u
