Hey dude, Glad I could be of service! Sounds as though you feel happier now that you have taken control of things. Good for you. Hope it all works out.

Ta Mason. Getting to the truth anyway. Got to start somewhere! Agreed Miki. Ignore has been the way with it. Maybe I believe in karma for situations like these?
We certainly find it easier to take on what other people think of us rather than figure it out for ourselves. The funny thing about the fat thing is that I'm a size 12. The funny thing about the stupid thing is that my IQ is 150. The list goes on. I guess it is harder for me to make myself feel good about things that I can't quatify with a number. What I've been told and what is reality are two different things, yet I seemed to find it easier to belie
Do I know where you're coming from, or what? I managed to get the exercise/diet thing under control a few months ago, and am much happier for it. In terms of doing things to enhance my life, I know where I want to be, but manage to avoid doing anything about it. It is so foolish as well, because the longer you put it off the longer it will take you to get 'there', wherever or whatever 'there' may be. Someone needs to develop a motivation pill
You told me I wasn't good enough. You told me that I could never be as pretty, as smart, as nice, as funny, as interesting, as cool, as magnetic, as worthwhile as I need to be. You told me that there was no use trying, because anything I put my hand to was destined to fail. You told me that my friends weren't my own, but people who used or pitied me to varying degrees
That's the one I thought as well, but everytime I have said it I have been shouted down and told that it was Dire Straits. Are you guys 100% absolutely positive? If you're right, which means that I am too, then I have a tonne of people who i have to go and laugh at, only because they laughed at me first! Hope you're enjoying, dharma.
You know what - shit happens. For every bad thing that someone does to us, we have done a similar thing to someone else. Sure, this girl treated you like crap. Learn from it, dust yourself off, pick yourself up and move on. Don't let it happen to you again. You can't be an angel with the hideous comments you made about your ex (for future reference - NEVER, EVER suggest that a girl has let herself go. Trust me on this one. Even if you are sayi
So true. I think the thing that people forget is that life isn't a competition. And when we are really good at one thing, there is going to be something else we are really bad at. We are all different, but I think we all need to find a balance in ourselves, forgetting how our differences look in relation to others. Just accepting that they are. I'm with you on the thinking too much issue. I think this happens a lot when we are frustrated with
How embarassing. Got it straight away. And I am apparently a genius (just to toot my own horn). Hmmm - now I'm confused
I hope you're feeling better for having made a decision. Good on you! (I hope your hangover wasn't so bad )
I'm sure you look sexy as hell! I know what you mean though. I used to have dreadlocks down to my arse and I cried and cried after I cut them off. I think these things become a really big part of your personality - especially if it is something as visible as hair (facial or otherwise) which people notice as soon as they meet you. All I can say is sit back and enjoy the breeze on your naked cheeks (not those ones you rude man! <
Giggle. I have never heard the word pukkie before. Thank you for expanding my vocab!
Morning! So here I am on another lovely Sunday morning. I don't really have much to write about, but I do have an urge to write something, so we'll see where my musings take us today. I've had a pretty relaxed weekend. Went to a really nice pub/bar last night with a few people. One of the girls was Italian and another German. As the level of alco
Definitely not! I agree - it is something for the professionals. I hope you don't think that I was advocating vigilante behaviour! Good for you for keeping an eye on things
Oh dear - the encroachin on space issue! I don't know how well I would handle it. I moved into my sister's house, but as I am now her 'staff' it is a tad different. Know what you mean about the baby spew. They seem to have a never ending reserve of the stuff. And absolutely no regard for your attire! You sound as though you have a good weekend, regardless of what you say. I have gotten myself drunk, kicked arse in Karaoke and am now home by my
Sheesh! That is so scary. Been out tonight and am not of the sobriety to write anything of importance, but please know that my anger is burning with yours. maybe if enough of us get riled up about this we can do something? It is terrifying to think that people who would not normally have access to your kids can reach through your computer into your home. I am shivering at the thought. Luckily you are a good mom. Actually, better than
It sounds like a perfectly fine night. Crank up the music, dance around the kitchen and you can still go and have your 3am breakfast when you've recovered from the godawful fumes those oven cleaners create! And if you're not drinking you won't feel as crap as I do this morning. Evil, evil alcohol (but I love it so...) Have a great night!
Just a short one. I have been thinking (or at least trying to - been at the pub for a while) and I haven't heard from the boy all week. i reckon he must have read my blogs before I blocked them. I should be embarassed, but I am more pissed off at the disrespect for privacy. FUCKER! It may have been like a train wreck for him - don't want to look, but can
I got 90. I am a little concerned that I find too many things funny. However, considering how pissed I am right now EVERYTHING is funny. Hic! Oh, alcohol, how I love thee... Night all xx
Oooh - not that bad! I do have my moments though. I was always terrible at making bread as it takes so long to rise!
Daniel Radcliffe lives in my street! Just as an aside. My only claim to fame
So true, Mason. I hope yours are getting better. Thanks
Good point Mason. I'm so impatient - wanting everything right here, right now. Thanks for the encouragement. Muggaz - Thanks mate. So nice to be officially welcomed!
Thanks for the giggle! I needed that! Thankfully they weren't showing where that skeletons exits...
Don't be so down on yourself - you write superbly. I think the hardest thing about writing is putting that voice in the back of your head which tells you that you're shit aside and keep doing it. You have to let everyone else be the judge because if everyone listened to that voice, we'd have nothing!
