I just did.. but it showed a bunch of characters on the screen. Let me try again here:
Originally I did check twice, but I now see that it shows to different things for Fences. See attached picture. The top section of Object Desktop shows no update for Fences, but in the next section it does show an update. However, I see that the update is BETA, not a production release. I usually wait for production, but since it keeps notifying me (a nuisance), I've gone ahead and updated to the new BETA version. Why does it show a different status for Fences in the t
Yes, that is where I downloaded the latest installer, but it did not fix the issue. How do I fix the issue?
Also, here is the version info: Object Desktop Version 4.07 ObjectDesktopManager.exe 4.7.9510.27166 Build Date 2026/01/14 03:41:41
Hello. Love Stardock software! I have a subscription for Object Desktop and recently (maybe over the past month or so) it has been prompting me saying there are software updates (and creating a folder in my downloads folder in Windows 11), but no updates are showing in Object Desktop and there is nothing in the folder it creates. I have tried reinstalling the software and rebooting, but it continues. Is there a current issue? If yes, how do I fix it? Thank you in
Ok, thank you for your help.
Thank you for the reply. So it sounds like you are saying there is no solution to this issue, correct?
@Basj I tried both of those and neither of them fixed the problem. I don't think skins are the answer. The issue is active vs in-active colors in the title bar and trying multiple different skins has not solved the issue.
Thanks. So are you saying that Windows Blinds cannot do what I need? ... I am not familiar with Win customize, is it safe?
Hello. Thanks for the feedback Basj. I still have not found a solution that works, but hopefully we can. Here's more detail on what I have tried. My goal: Use Windows Dark Mode (turned on in Windows settings), but I want to be able to clearly see the different windows that are open by looking at the color of the title bars (like most everyone typically does) by looking for the active title bar which should have a noticeably different color than the inacti
Hello Basj, Thanks for the reply. Here's your answers: 1. Using WindowsBlinds 11 (ver 11_11.07 Beta) with Acrylic 7 them. 2. Below pic has 3 explorer windows stacked and as you can see the black title bars all appear the same (active & inactive). I'd like the active window title bar to be noticeably different than the inactive window title bars. I played around with the settings but never got the color to be significantly different, and I di
Hello everyone, First, let me say I love Stardock software (Start11, Fences, Deskscapes, etc.) Now, I've searched and can't seem to find a solution to running Windows 11 (latest verion & updates - Win 11 Pro 24H2, OS 26100.4770) in dark mode and be able to have the title bars not be black and thus hard to see when the background is black. I've tried the usual color scheme changes in personalization, transparency, and register changes, but have had no luck (sometimes yo
