Thanks for your reply. Multiplicity (M) version is 4.0.7.2. I already uninstalled that version of M, intending to install the free trial to see if new version cures all my problems. However, boss stepped in and told me not to install trial. Why, I don't know. Is there something wrong with it? That's my plan: Get the latest version and try to make that work. There is no point in messing with an old version.

Your point about Multiplicity version is well taken. I have a less than most recent version installed. I should come up with the approximately $37 for the most recent version of Multiplicity before the support team puts much time into my complaints. On the other hand, StarDock should consider giving me the update for free, since I have spent many, many hours trying to make the older version work, all to no positive effect. Please respond.

All my desktop icons are gone. The associated files in "C:\Users\UserName\Desktop" are also gone, including the icon for new program I just installed this week. So not only does the new Start11 update delete all the desktop icons, it continues to do it on a continuing basis. The files that Start11 deletes from "C:\Users\UserName\Desktop" contain important lists that are sorely missed. Please tell me: 1. Where are the files in "
