Critiques kick ass. I used to feel that way when I was in school: then, after I was away from it for a bit, I slid back into that old 'hating critics' pattern again. Some

Congrats to you and your family. Happy days (and nights) always!
Meanest Blogger: I don't know. Most disliked Blogger: Lucas is always made out to be, but given his popularity, I don't think he's truly disliked by all.... Most prolific Blogger: It varies, but Dr Guy puts out, a lot. (easy, hahaha.) Most loved Blogger: Tex. Who can resist her? Most Angry Blogger: Everybody gets a little angry. Most conservative blogger: don't know. Most liberal Blogger: don'
With stricter regulations regarding smoking in public places, it is pretty noticable that there aren't as many smokers any more. Athough these rules have not changed the habits of every smoker, I think that more people are finding it more of a hassle to smoke as frequently and as leisurely. The outcasting is working for some.
I think I'm the female version of Shovelheat.... I'm not big on Guiness, but a nice Chimay red is bloody lovely. And, I don't do it often (like maybe once every year or so) but a good tear on the tequila simply rocks. (Hard, though.)
This is me, taken last year at a pow-wow. I'm 36. This is me, at my favorite bar, last New Year's Eve, and before I got all stupid. hehehe. My girl Kole, wearing her nerd glasses (Without the lenses), months after actual Nerd Day at school. <img src="http://img.p
I had a difficult time with friends as a child. Not that I couldn't make them, but didn't want to make any, because, sooner or later, I knew that there would be a possibility that they wouldn't be there in the future. As I got older, I started making them, and learning how to live in the present. Some friends are great friends and you think they are going to last forever, and other people you meet, you're certain that they're temporary, like summer
We put up the tree, went for a drive to look at everyone's Christmas lights, with snow falling perfectly in the background. We saw High School Musical , ate some popcorn, and chilled out.... perfection . I'm really looking forward to lying on a beach, eating and drinking too much and generally forgetting abou
My favorite Christmas carol has got to be 'Have Yourself A Merrry Little Christmas" , and nobody does it, or will ever do it better than Judy Garland. The season is gearing up, and I can't help but be a little happier this time around. I've got more time off this year: 21 days off starting on the 18th. Twenty One !!!! Hooray for working for a university! I
We haven't got it yet, but weather alerts for the same type of conditions are being reported. Strange season, so far. Yesterday it was 14C, which means pullovers and sweater coats here. Strange indeed. Stay warm, don't go skating involuntarily....
One aspect of the job that I find almost unbearable is the Meet and Greet. There are several kinds, but the upcoming one is smallish; a party of 15. I can handle the larger ones quite easily. The key to those is to move . A couple of minutes at the punch bowl; a quick hello to a visiting professor; cooing over a small child. Interspace that with a few asides
All the best, Mason, and I'll hope that it doesn't get too cold for ya!
To do what I want to do, to do what pleases me, I must work in order to gain the resource, money, that makes all these things possible. I am, and you are (unless you're independently wealthy) a wage slave. No matter what work I do, no matter how intrinsically satisfying that work might be (and I'll admit that there aspects of my
When that girl starts crawling around, I'm in trouble! Then it's gonna take you a lot longer than 3 months to post another picture! I'm happy for you and your family. Sounds like all is well. Well and busy! Nicky
I've started and stopped writing so many articles in the past 72 hours. Sometimes an idea hits me, and I start pounding away on the keyboard and then, for no good reason, I lose it justlikethat . I stare at the screen for a few, and then I start looking online elsewhere. I poke my head in on the Myspace mess, which is like a wild, sleazy, commercial-ridden prom
Really, I have only the slightest concept of the game. I've never actually seen it played in real life, and it's rarely televised up here, unless you subscribe to some sports network. I'm not a big sports fan though, so it's not like I hunt around to see what's new in that arena of the world. I dig watching men's gymnastics though. Talk about muscles, agility, and self-control.
some people... I've noticed that I'm pretty strong when it comes to opinions about people. Especially people who shift the blame on others they believe have less power than they do. An example of this involves a boom box. We use cheap audio equipment in the performance space simply because it's much easier to cue. You want to try that move
Shiiiiccckawww! Is that a whip crack? Not a bad written representation. I prefer it written this way, personally: Whit-kaaaaaah! have fun.
Happy non-Thanksgiving to you, too. I'm in the minority, where tomorrow is just another day, and I won't be getting paid double time for working it. However, we Canadians celebrated our Thanksgiving Day last month. These Americans are late, late, late!
I agree that there has to be the right mood to write something enjoyable. See you soon. You have been missed as well!
The company I used to work for used USPS, UPS and DHL for shipping new products. I had the least amount of trouble with USPS. They were faster in most cases, and more considerate about leaving small parcels. With the other two, they'd just drop a new cellphone off on the front porch and leave notes that said exactly the same. The USPS would at least leave a note advising of an attempted drop-off and a request to pick it up at the local office.
Sweeeeeet!
this has not been the first time I have been told that a post I made there was "less than gentlemanly" if any of your posts were alike to the ones you post here, there's something definitely way too uptight going on over there. <TD class="mb-Bo
Homework is parent work. Right now I’m relearning my multiplication facts that I just learned over the summer, but forgot in the few months since school started. Math is steps. Can’t skip one to get to the next. Every step has to be memorized, filed, worked and mastered or the voyage to the top stops. I’d rather take the elevator. I
Nothing's working this morning, and that includes me. I have another day off, and I'm bored, bored, bored. But I guess everybody else is doing their own thing, so there's not much new to read or comment on. My gmail is down, so I can't get to that certain project that I'm sporadically working on, and Joeuser is being a bitch to me. There's some kind of glitch hap
