I feel your angst. I find myself thinking about the same kind of crap... the best thing to do is just start planning your own things to do. If he calls, great, if not, you're busy anyway, so it's no big loss. Having said that, I still do think I know what you are going through... peace.

I think that I have the comma thing under control, but it's these damned triple periods that follow many of my sentences because I can't surmise properly enough. You know... kind of like this... it's annoying...

Go Jill, go! I am in the same situation as you are at this very moment. I need to get away from the keyboard, get in the car and go home and clean. I have only a week or so left before I start my new job, and had planned on getting rid of a lot of outgrown clothing of Kole's, re-organizing old school stuff, filing income tax stuff, and all sorts of other 'home' related chores to do. Do you think I have done any of it? I really feel I need s

I've been meaning to do this for sometime, and now that there's no question about it, I will begin immediately. Every time I come across a particularly interesting or moving blog, I am tempted to write about it. I haven't written one yet, basically because I have been distracted, or time was running out. However, after reading Je

Dharma, I'm glad to hear that there's a possibility that you might still be going overseas. I'm curious about your headaches... is this something that has been occurring all your life, or something that has started happening during your adult life? Is it progressively getting worse, or just 'is'? Nic.

Blogging about personal relationships, for me, is just too damned depressing. Mostly because, I don't have a personal relationship with anyone , but feel the need to explore the reasons behind this sad state of affairs. I can narrow it down to one thing... I have serious control issues. The second I feel like things are not going the way I determine the

Dharma, I just read now... I'm here for you, and I am hoping that things turn out all right. Giving good vibes and thinking of you, Nic.

I think that I am probably the only person not complaining about rising electricity costs. Well, not yet anyway. See, I live in this building where your hydro bill is dictated by the average monthly bill of the previous year. It's not that I conserve like crazy, more like I am hardly home to use what electricity is needed for the average person. My bill has decreased each year, and so far, pay 22 dollars less a year than when I first moved in. <BR

It seems like everyone is interested in film. Everybody seems to be making their own films, writing for film, or acting in film. Coming from "an artistic haven" (as our city was once recently described), I enjoy the process, but from a distance. Yes, I considered it, since everyone else seemed to have good things to say about it, but in the end, I have admi

Treat someone (anyone) like an animal and don't be to surprised when they turn into one. I agree, but wouldn't you say that a serial killer already falls into that category? I think I failed to address that these were the criminals that I was referring to. However, understanding that many offenders cr

It seems to me that the victim in a lot of cases is forgotten, or seen as merely a by-product of the crime what gets to me is the punishment that so often gets handed out seems so insignificant in comparison to those whom the crime was committed against. For instance, the punishment that pedophiles get

Really? It doesn't put a dent in your male ego that you can't get your girl to 'o' for you? Then why is it so often asked afterwards? how obvious do we have to be?

verandah (is that an exclusively Australian word?) We use the word in Ontario, Canada. We hang out on the verandah at 8 degrees... that's pretty damned warm to me. I wouldn't think twice about having wet hair! See the funny thing is this; it got up to 24 this afternoon and everyone starting bitching a

I haven't 'seen' Jill around for a bit, but I'm not online as often as I used to be... hopefully all is well. Isn't it 'funny' to miss someone you haven't seen on Joeuser for a couple of days....?

I'd agree too and say this, if it's rehabilitation that you need, then fine, prove it . Show that you've spent the time aware of your actions and repenting in retrospect. AFTER you've served all the time that you were sentenced to, neverminding the 'time off for good behaviour' crap, and then apply for a program to help your reintegration into society. As far as those who have committed horrendous crimes and will never be set free... no extras

I'm not good with ending relationships. I'm pretty good with confrontation, in general; I'm an assertive and diplomatic person. However, when it comes to not wanting to see somebody again, I would rather they just 'got the hint', than actually say the words that will make them leave. Which is puzzling, in a way. I know in my heart that what is don

I dislike the idea of the death penalty based on my own moral reasons. I personally don't believe in killing anyone, period. However, I also think it's a shitty idea to set up an inmate within a system that basically allows the person a room, toilet, free food, and all the other amenities of prison... I don't know what the prison system is like in the States outside of the Hollywood version, but it's pretty damned soft up here, it seems. In Canada, i

Kole and I are going on a trip with the rest of her class to Six Nations, near Brantford, ON. It's funny; when most classes start to discuss end-of-the-year trips, schools in this area tend to book for places like Canada's Wonderland, the Toronto Zoo or Centreville... I never would have dreamed that my daughter's class would be discussing trips that involved medicine
