I'd agree too and say this, if it's rehabilitation that you need, then fine, prove it . Show that you've spent the time aware of your actions and repenting in retrospect. AFTER you've served all the time that you were sentenced to, neverminding the 'time off for good behaviour' crap, and then apply for a program to help your reintegration into society.
