I've been strutting around a bit and have been feeling very relieved. I got offered a job, signed the papers and start at the end of the month. Yay for me! I've had a perma-grin for awhile now, and am just glad to be finally in the position of getting off welfare, starting my career and having more money than I've every earned in my life. It means no more d
I have a big thing for purses and office supplies! I think I mentioned it once on JU and Karmagirl knew exactly what I was talking about. About the jumping thing... I sort of relate, but I feel that way about cars. If I am kickin' it at a high speed and there's a sharp corner ahead, I often make this conscious thought about what if I didn't turn and kept on going? I know I am not suicidal or want to take anyone else out either, but it's a
There are just some days when a beer would go down so nicely. I've been trying to stop drinking. I have never been the kind of person to keep alcohol at home and since I am only able to get out once a week at the most often, I don't actually do a lot of regular drinking. I'm also usually the kind of person who likes to be in control, so even if I do go out,
It's like you just have to keep coming back to see what was posted after you posted what you shouldn't have posted. It's all just so very wrong...... well said, Karma... I know what you mean.
I'm actually pretty surprised at the everchanging menu at McDonald's. We now have 'Protein Platters' which are plastic dishes filled with a slice of fake ham, fake sausage, fake hamburger and chicken, with a single peice of lettuce, tomato, pickle and processed cheese on the side. What the hell is this world coming to?

I love it, Jamie... if Joeuser ever allows avatars one day, I suggest that you use an image like this. Posting his picture is not needless...
I'm as honest as I have to be. I do censor what I write, only because I know that there is another real person who just wrote what I was responding to and I wouldn't want them to be hurt by words that I didn't mean to use unwisely. I don't see the point in blogging while wearing a mask... actually, that goes for real life as well.
I think we are all going to have to hang out together at Jill's place, then... I've got a real hate-on going for a blogger that is just childish... Resistance is not futile! I can maintain some self-control! Peace, sisters.
We must be really close sisters, because every single item on your list contains things that piss me off just as easily. Especially # 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5! hehehe. I feel your momentary rage!
This morning, in Toronto, police initiated an Amber Alert that had hundreds working together to help in a matter which is seriously becoming a common crime, to much dismay. Child abduction. At approximately 8:50 am, several witnesses saw and overheard a young boy screaming. The phrase 'I don't know you.' was overheard and immediate action took place.
This is great! There are so many lines here that I could point out that I particularly liked, but since there's so many an overall 'amazing' will have to do. Nic.
I don't clue in too quickly when it comes to unexpected comments... simply because it's unexpected! It only registers minutes later, so I can definitely see where you are coming from. I went out with some friends last weekend- Friday actually, and I know I've done some foolish things. I'm kinda embarrassed actually, but damn it, I did have fun. I'm going to blame it all on the tequila, and not beat myself up about it. What's done is done...
Hello! Glad to hear from you. Miss you much and am looking forward to seeing you up and posting again!
There's no method to my madness of blogging today. I can't seem to put forth a fully formed opinion on anything, and any particular item that I would bitch about isn't maddening enough... just a minor annoyance. Then again... Ordered list, anyone? If Trinitie is 'gone' from Joeuser, why does she continue popping up in the comments s
I mentioned it in my latest blog, but I'm slowly going crazy with my 6 year old's incessant chattering. I love her voice. It's such a sweet, girly voice. It's cute to listen to, because there's some word sounds that she still can't say properly such as mixing up W's for R's, and pronouncing other words incorrectly, like 'hopsital' for 'hospital', etc,. But,
I'm here for you, too. I don't know exactly what you are going through, but I do know that it does wonders just to share. Nic
great article! I was with a couple of girlfriends and my sister, and we had just seen a movie set around the early 1900s. One of the girls, who had admired the dresses and design and style of the movie pretty much sighed and asked 'wouldn't you love it if you were living then?' My sister and I looked at her in horror... nice life for the white girls in our group but for the two ojibway indians? It really made her stop and think about how cer
I wonder if the two are related nope, not related at all. was there alcohol involved? there might have been... hehehe.... <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%
i know that it doesn't take much effort, but i'm just too tired to capitalize my sentences today. why? i think it all began when i stepped out of the car this morning and saw snow falling from the sky... again!!! okay, i realize that i live in canada, and that there's a great many people from outside of canada who think that this is the norm- snow in may... but it's
good to see you, hope to see more of your stuff, soon!
boy... if this is the best age that Kole's at right now... I'm in trouble. I call her my mini-teen because she just has all the attitude right now. I think the only thing that is saving us is the fact that I freak out as often as she does... it embarasses the hell out of her and she is often the one telling me to grow up. I can only hope, Dharma, that I handle myself as well as you are.
I'm 34, so depending on shades, you might be the baby, Karma. Then we'll start picking on you... hehehe
it's sunday. it's raining. i have to go grocery shopping. i need to clean the bathroom. i am currently doing laundry. i have a movie that is 14 days overdue.
