Radiohead broke into the Canadian market, big . I wouldn't mind going to see that show... and I hate to admit it, but I think I'm pretty much over the concert phase. The only group that I would really love to see is The Violent Femmes, and of course, Danny Michel, who is good alone, or with a band. Link

I've been reading your stuff for the last little while, and I like it. I'm from Canada, am a girl (I tend to get the assumption that I am a guy, too, from time to time.), have long dark black hair, am about 5'6 in height, and since I've started running, am currently losing weight in my chest area, rather than my ass, as I would have hoped. Hopefully, my body is just redistribu

So, Ive been spending some time at the Uni today, relishing the highspeed connection. And can you ever tell that school is almost finished for the year. It's loud, noisy, and there's a general feeling of excitement in the air. It's hard to say who's more excited, the students who have finished exams for the year, or the Hockey addicts. Either way, I don't give a shit.

I won't find out for another 2 weeks! I'm going crazy waiting... (I had to do a personality test which really creeped me out, but considering I scored low on all of the categories that Phantom posted on his Personality Disorder Test blog, I feel a bit better. I'm glad they didn't give me the Dante's Inferno Test instead. ) I aced the interview, and did amazing on the comp test.

This is going to be a pretty personal post. I'm just trying to muddle through the past events of a couple of days, maybe writing about it will help. Then again, maybe it will just be me peeling off one more layer. Good thing I'm not including pictures. So, in the past 24 hours I've come in contact with not one, not two, but three people from my persona

It's that time of year where the newly graduated begin to question the reason behind their past four years of higher learning. Some say, they chose wisely. They studied the current and future markets in regards to career placement and picked an area of study that would better their chances at gaining employment. These people learned about their desired career

I think I'll let my future wife deal with that ;) Taking the easy way out, huh? Kelly, yeah. I know I have one hell of a temper, and the best thing to do when I feel like I'm going to go ballistic is just to step away from the situation. I was kind of exagerating in this case, but there have been times when I find it hard to keep calm. The good thing is though, is that we both realize how frustration works. Hopefully, my methods of c

Dharma, Once I took that first step into blacklisting, I've since then added. I seriously doubt that they would respond to my blog in the first place, but from what I read from them in other people's blogs, I've decided that I didn't want to see it in mine. Simply put, I don't really want crap in it. (Unless it's mine, of course! ) It's a tough decision, but there are people out the

Jilluser, I do identify with you in this regard. I am spiritual, but do not believe wholy in the Creator, God, or by any other name that you might have for Him. Specifics, for me, are unimportant. I do know what I am here for, and why its better to be good than evil. I do feel that God, Jesus, The Creator, Nanabush, etc., are all just names and stories that really suggest ways to behave, to act. I feel the love and support from these word

One of the most challenging aspects of parenthood is empathy. For all the reasons that Kole hates to do homework, I did too. I remember homework time being the most frustrating, tear-inducing, boring and agonizing time of day. I would spend much of it in just sheer negativity... and would beg my mother in a hundred different ways to let me not do it. Of course, it ne

Wow. That's impressive. I honestly know that I couldn't handle that situation so calmly. But maybe that's just because I have anger issues. That I love revenge movies. That the idea of anyone messing with me and my child's future is enough to make me see red in just a hypothetical perspective. That last point, btw, is extreme in my situation. I think that I would do anything to prevent someone from harming my child. I don't think that I'm a big eno

I rarely consider all of my senses at one time. Yeah, I realize I need cooling down in the heat of anger, literally. I absolutely detest the listening to a radio that you can barely hear. I can't bear the smell of turkey baking, and I hate touching the bottom of a murky lake with a bare foot, so much so, that I wear Teva's while I swim. But the good stuff is

Incomprehensible? Thinking is the bane of the world's existance, honestly, if we didn't think then everything would be fine. I know what you mean. I think I do more damage to my personal life by overthinking an offhand remark or deciphering a comment said in a different tone. Tri

Are you feeling all right? Or do you need some sort of affirmation or acknowledgement that you are right about absolutely everything that you say? You may not be attacking me, but you're certainly trying pretty damned hard to prove something wrong that is simply an opinion. If you're bloody well hacking up a lung, stay the hell away from me. I don't think it's selfish to want to remain healthy so you can collect a check. Yeah, I could catch s

but just coming to work to avoid the loss of salary involved in staying home for being sick is pure ego. I agree. Nobody could convince me otherwise, that an employer would truly can someone who is so obviously ill. (Note that I didn't recommend staying home every time you got ill.) See, colds are diff

I don't know about that. I mean, yes, definitely, by all means continue to write. But I think it does exist, especially if writing is a part of your job, and you have deadlines to face. I think, if you've been writing something huge, like a novel or a thesis, writer's block comes with the territory. But, don't step aside from it from it too quickly. Even if it means pulling it out every morning, every evening, or just before you go to bed- do it. Try t

I've been blogging since December 24th, 2003. I've been blogging at JoeUser the longest, but I also have another account elsewhere, that is much more satisfying to rant at on a personal level, but isn't as much fun because of the lack of interaction amongst bloggers there. Or rather, I have yet to step forward and introduce myself, and so far, don't really anticipate
