I am exhausted right about now, but since this was posted a day earlier, hopefully all is well for everyone else. I had to take Kole to the hospital last night... she sprained her foot. It took over 2 1/2 hours to get the diagnosis though... we're both out of it today.

Yeah, if you have to compare where certain people may end up on this theory of delegating souls due to lifestyle and experience, I'm with you guys... Heaven sounds like a very judgemental, restrictive, and self-righteous place, in some mouths. Hell, at least, sounds like a place where I am apt to meet up with some good people, in this light.

The thing is, talking about sex for some people, is more fun when the other person doesn't have a clue about it. They can give tips, hints and guidelines, and that's not exactly what I was propositioning. (hehe.) I think that the acceptance of sexual relationships comes with maturity. The more experienced you are, the less impulsive you may be about defining what is morally acceptable to yourself, and to others thereby leading you open to be m

I like the smell of Pine-Sol...to me, it represents 'clean' Me too! I never thought that the scent of cleaning products would make me feel satisfied, but there is nothing better than cleaning your kitchen and bathroom with it, leaving the house to do other things and then coming back to have that famil

making conscious choices and not regretting them This is exactly what I mean. I'm not saying that every choice that I make is going to be a good one, but I'm not measuring up these choices against someone else's belief system that has a whole lot of 'rules' about living that follow you through eternity.

Yeah... me and Muggaz are going to be pretty toasty together, I guess.... although, to be honest... I don't believe in Hell. So, I guess I'm free to actually live my life the way I want to, without fear or regrets.

I don't know if it's because of the weather, but lately the topic of sex is in the air. I'm hearing it from people I never have these kind of discussions with, reading about it in other people's blogs, and have seen a lot of visually stimulating images, that perhaps weren't designed to be viewed in this manner. In another girl's blog (not at Joeuser),

Trinitie: I don't think looks really matter when talking about 'nice guys'. Some of the so-called 'hot' guys aren't always drop-dead gorgeous, but they have this charisma that supercedes looks. And nice guys aren't relegated to that category only based on looks either. I think it all has to do with attitude. And here's where we get to Mj's 'adult' response. In my opinion, you can still be a 'nice guy' and be able to enjoy a great time. </f

I do know what you mean, and I'm sorry that you are feeling this way. I have a hard time with love, and also, trust. I think it takes a lot of work to get past it... so much so that I'm still not as open as I could be, face to face. I think it gets better, the more you know yourself and the more honest about your wants and needs you grow to be. And, I guess, the more trusting that you become. Thinking of you. Nic.

Somewhere between junior high and now, I've lost the ability to communicate with my brother. I don't doubt that we both care for each other, but so much time and distance is between us. He had been a bit of a hero to me, and also a bit of a torment. The last time I actually talked to him was during Christmas vacation... it's been awhile, I know. The funny thing is, I never really took a good look at our relationship until after having my daughter. The

I've heard from a number of people, both male and female (but let's just use the male perspective as an example to keep things simple) that to be called a 'nice' guy is the kiss of death. At face value, there is nothing erotic about the image of a 'nice guy'. It's not a sexy label, it's hardly indusive for fantasy-building images. In fact, for those who are c

I think Dan is completely 100% wrong. I send my daughter to Anishnaabe school. She learns our language, songs and stories, and has teachings that are still relative in our society. She learns how to hunt, fish, sew, cook, and most importantly, be a productive member in Anishnaabe society. She learns the social norms and relations of our culture. Having said that, we are living in Ontario, Canada. I would guess that this small city that w

This is where it gets interesting... at least, for me. How much to reveal, why do I hold back in other areas? Making decisions about fellow bloggers because of what they write on a day to day basis. In the end, we are all just strangers tied together through Joeuser. Without this forum, how many people would keep up some sort of correspondence? I don't think it's wrong to step outside of 'the circle', but it certainly makes things more chal

Ugh... if you get multiple responses that are donating a liver, will you please let me know and pass on my name? I'm a glutton; for beer and for punishment, obviously.

Mack, I am so surprised to see you around Joeuser, the same time that I am. Mind you, it's 4:30 in the AM where I am at right now, but I still don't know what time it is where you are. Either way, thanks for the words. He and I are good friends right now, but I was really crushing on him for quite some time. I'm actually kind of glad that things are going the way that they are... but, I'm pretty much an instant gratification kind of girl. I don't want

You are absolutely the best. I hate asking, or receiving advise, but this was just so needed right now. He is a good man: one of the few people that I have been attracted to, to be able to call him a man, and not just a guy... There's nothing wrong right now, it's just not going the way that I am used to having things go for me... if you know what I mean. We are, and are going to be better friends, but I am just ready to give up on having a crus

As soon as I saw Neil Buchanan's name on your title, I thought... nah... couldn't be... I have spent the past 6 years watching Art Attack, and I doubt I would have even known who you were talking about if it wasn't for my pre-school aged daughter.... He comes up with some funky stuff...we've tried tons of his ideas, and they've worked out, yet not so entertainingly as his own stuff. The worst thing is, I recall during borin

It's no big surprise that I've been crushing on someone. I've mentioned it in passing, but really, held no hope that anything would come of it. I've had my time of whirlwind romances, or so I thought. The man that I've been falling for is so not my normal pursuit. I used to go for the bad guys... the arrogant, the cocky, the hard-to-pin-down.

How do you think? There is so much in your room, that I can't even begin to posit where your mindspace is at, in realm with your room.... But maybe that's just because I don't know it as well as you do. Everyone's place makes sense to themself... or at least, I hope that it should. What looks chaotic and disheveled is another man's order... Thanks for posting that one more glimmer into your life. Hope all is well. Nic.</

Muggaz, It's great just knowing that you've had a good time this weekend.... Maybe I am living vicariously through you, but it does make me feel good knowing that youve been having a good time with your friends... Nic

You've got to hand it to the late Jim Hensen: he was a miraculous man in the making of children's entertainment. Kole's had a Muppet marathon going for the past couple of days. We've gone from watching old Muppet Show episodes, to The Great Muppet Caper, and are now currently watching The Muppet Movie. This is a great flick! Hillarious! I was talking to my mother onc
