Dharmagrl, I'll take all the help I can get! I dabble in a lot of things. "New Age" things interest me. I like the idea behind it. I completely believe in Karma...which is why I'm now wondering what I did in the past to reap the present troubles. Maybe I should've tried harder to avoid hitting those frogs on that rainy night not too long ago? Or perhaps I shouldn't have referred to the neighbors pooch as a mutt. :) Good vibes w

I'm a probable sufferer of AADD. I can report that I often times need to have 8 things going on, cause my mind tends to jump from one project to the other with no pretext or reason. However, I would not want to be medicated. I like being a little hyper active. Keeps me in relative good shape. And I handle stress better than some people. I like being a mess. It's who I am. :)
Although...I have been busy. STILL trying to figure out the conversions of CDG to DVD. I'm gotten to converting from CDG to Bin files. Now what? Tons of info out there. But sorting through the crap...takes time. Something I have precious little of. So, my car blew up...sort of. Head gasket. Not pretty. My washing machine is leaking and the refridgerat
"I'm a big baby. I bought myself a little yellow fluffy ducky toy that chirps/quacks when you squeeze his tummy the other day...and I named him 'Waddle-Doo'. He's sitting on the desk looking at me...." (I don't have the quote thing..don't know why) How cute is that! You must buy yourself toys every now and again. Just to have fun. Don't worry so much about the gray. You've earned those little babies! Granted, I dye mine too. So w
I have been busier than a one armed paper hanger. Haven't a clue what the paper hanger's job is really...Just know I'm busier than he is. My darling boss has a new project for me. Oh and it's a dooozy. DVD has reached the karaoke world. 450 songs on one disc. You can see why this interests my boss. Well. I have a DVD burner. He came up wi
Well. The dilemma. I have both computers running now. I've gotten a ton of stuff done. BUT. Personal pleasure pursuits, like blogging have taken a back seat. Also. It's been nice outside. Really nice. Spring may have sprung. I'm still going to wait another week or two to say it for sure. Just to make sure I see no more snow flakes. I'm tired.
I had a plan. Note, HAD. A plan. I was going to the hair stylist, spend some time with Jerry typing up new books, then go to work. What happened? Hair stylist had to cancel. Her father is ill. I hope not seriously. So I called Jerry, whose brother stopped over, so no books today. I went errand running with my guy. That never bodes well. He hate
Zuma in Outer Space? Aha! So Stargate is right! They're all aliens! Not ancient Incas or anything! Now. I'm scared. :)
Ah. I play Zuma too much. But in my defense, I always do some work first. Then I play. This weekend. I managed to research some new karaoke music. By going to different sites that offer custom disks, and looking at each one for the songs we are being asked for. I made a very neat little grid, labeled each column for the different sites, and checked off the
I have seen Joan Of Arcadia, Russell. A wonderful show. But then, CBS usually has some really good "family" shows on. I refer to them as the quality network. Sadly, UPN and Fox have always switched places with each other as being the trash channel. WB is right above them. Then NBC. I don't even bother with ABC. Nothing ever looks good on that station. Alias might be the exception. But I have a friend who tapes that, so I don't have to bother watch
It's hard to see the screen right now. Thank you Hans, DesignGuy and Baker. Thank you so much for your kind words. Bless each of you.
I do not agree with what Marvin is saying, but he has a right to say it. My personal opinion about people like Marvin is this: Give attention to their rants, and you strengthen their convictions. Ignore him if you must. Fight for equality in our society and one day, people like Marvin will not exsist. That's my hope. Simple. I know. But I can dream.
:: whimpers:: 60? I so want that!!!! Enjoy some mild weather for me, will you? I'd hate to think there are people who have finally shaken off winter's grip who aren't taking advantage of it.
I have a new show to watch. Wonderfalls. Have you seen this yet? It airs on the Fox network. I'm guessing a mid season replacement for something. But as I don't normally watch Fox except for Tru Calling and 24, I don't know the other shows on that network. Wonderfalls is delightfully nutty and strange. I dig those type of shows. Take a peek at it. You may enjoy it as well.<
It's official. I hate winter. Yep. I know. First day of spring is coming up. Saturday. But old man winter is hanging on with a freakin' death grip. SNOW is evil. Rant over. I just got the new Print Shop 20. Mock me if you want. I like it! It's spiffy keen for me. I am going to play with it. I just have zero time in the next three days. Maybe on Friday I can accomplish something. I'll see. Sunday looks most prom
Zuma is my FAVORITE waste of time! I am sooo addicted to that game! Have you beaten level 11 yet? If you do, tell me how! I can't seem to do it!!! Have fun!
I've seen an episode of Everwood. Generally it comes on when I'm out working. But I'll attempt to catch it. Thanks for the tip. Yeah. Lorelai can really scream right along can't she? Lauren Graham (I'm sure I spelled her last name wrong) really must be something to remember all those lines!
If you like fast talk, pop culture references, and wacky behavior. Gilmore Girls is for you! Stars Hollow seems to be filled with colorful people. I would love to live there. :) Ah, if life could be like TV, huh?
My friend Gen would whole heartedly agree with you!
Yeah. You definately needed the southern drawl for that to be funny. And ... heee heee hee. It was cute.
I adore Gilmore Girls. I love how fast they talk, I love the writing of the show. It's good. Best line....Luke was attempting to fix Lorelai's window while being drunk. He cut his hand. Lorelai, being the fun girl she is, has only Barbie band-aids. She attempts to fix up his hand, and put the band-aid on it. He doesn't notice at first, then goes across the room, babbling like drunks do. Takes a moment to notice his hand, and says "Got a handful of
Have back luck with Sags, do ya? :) We're easy to get along with. Just do it our way! ;)
LOL!! Imajinit, you are just too funny! I'm taking you to a party! :) As of this morning, I called the company I bought the MB and Ram from. He's going to exchange them for me! Well, the RAM anyway. As for the MB. I am getting a different make. The man is asking me to pay the amount over the cost of the old board. Which is about a twenty dollar difference. I don't mind. That's fair. He was so easy to deal with. I wish
"Who, but you, gets the right to decide your life for you?" "I'm all in agreement with on that. You should have the right to make decisions about YOUR life. No argument there. It's the life of the baby inside the woman that I don't think she should be able to choose death for, which ISN"T her life." Ok. You believe that a fetus is a person at conception. Or have I assumed wrong? Thing is, and this is being very non-e
Thanks Jeremy. You are an angel for sharing. As it turns out. I wasn't only fighting a bad motherboard. The new RAM I bought, Also bad. So. Two problems, combined. Made for one crazed Misfit. I have since decided to contact the store I bought both from and see about getting a rebate or exchange for the bad pieces. I'm not angry with them really. Things like this can happen. It's just a bit maddening is all. Thankfu
