Thanks Zubas, There are folks here that are unable to turn off their proxy settings, but I'm not one of them as it screws up some of the VPN connections I have to traverse. I run everything without proxy settings, so that's why I don't understand what's going on with SDC. I don't think my "Help Desk" folks are going to have a clue. :/

Hi! I'm trying to run the new Stardock Central at work, but it says "We're sorry, but something went wrong while trying to log you in. Please try again!" I don't need to use a proxy to get through the "firewall" here, but some software titles are fooled into thinking I do. Are there settings I can configure somewhere to make sure that isn't the problem? Thanks!

Jay, I'm in the same boat as you. It is rather strange in the way that HIPS is choosing which software to stop, and which ones to let run. I also can't run Firefox either. IE and Opera seem to work just fine. Ken

Does anyone know where that is/was? <img src="http://images3.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Crying.gif" border=0 ALIGN="abs

Where do I start? I am a longtime lurk around these parts and am proud to say I paid for my first Object Desktop Subsciption almost a year before it was released, mostly because of Windowblinds. While I don't think I could ever get to the point where I could actually sit down and try to construct my own skin, I am very appreciative of everyone who has contributed. I just counted them all up, and I have an archive of over 600 skins. Almost half of them I dont do much with any more, bu
